How are Trent Valley and Birmingham - Crewe?

Recently purchased the Class 805 and have been having fun running it up and down WCML South. I recently took an interest in modern WCML routes because I travelled the full route twice last month and recognised a lot of the rolling stock and stations.

How are the two routes in question on PS5? I was planning to buy both of these instead of TSW7 next week. I also have the 390 if curious.

Blackpool Branches is still fantastic

Excited for all the TSW7 news but it’ll still be hard for most routes to come close to Preston-Blackpool and Ormskirk imo

I stopped playing during Maliss format

But I’d like to come back. I played a little bit of Dracotail and Radiant Typhoon but didn’t stick around.

Have the decks and gameplay improved since then? I do miss just grinding out diamond for hours. My go-to decks are Branded and Blue-Eyes but I’d play anything tbh

WCML: Preston - Carlisle

Route impresses me every time, the graphics are stunningly photorealistic!

(On a serious note, took the sleeper train from London Euston to Glasgow and it was pretty ridiculous how much of the route I recognised, even in the dark, from Crewe to Carlisle just because of many hours I’ve put into TSW!)

Running in and around Glasgow

Going back home to Glasgow for a few weeks, so decided to do some runs on the Cathcart Circle in anticipation.

Absolutely not biased whatsoever, but Glasgow Central is just one of the best looking terminus stations in the world!

Weathered Class 08 gone

Just wondering if anyone knows what’s happened to the WCML: Preston - Carlisle heavily weathered Class 08?

Since the update, it’s vanished completely from my roster and all of the Preston - Carlisle 08’s have been replaced with Crewe - Preston, with the weathered version missing completely.

Gutted because I was hoping to do some services with it seeing as Crewe - Preston brought the HEA wagon with it.

Finally got around to playing the TSW6 base routes

I like the constant gradient changes on the Riviera Line, Leipzig - Dresden has a really busy timetable and lots of variety on the line, and the Morristown Line has been a fun challenge so far. The first US commuter route that I’ve actually sat down and played!

Linke Rheinstrecke and Mittenwaldbahn

Picked up both of these routes in the PS sale at the weekend. Absolutely stunning, haven’t bothered playing any other routes since! Excited for when Niddertalbahn next goes on sale!
