Assault Tank Rework

After some spirited feedback, Assault Tanks are no longer a single battalion unit with a single piece of equipment. Instead it is now a De Facto Railway Gun that has short range, but a lot of kick and no time to displace or emplace. This does mean it's restricted to roads however but OWBs has level 5 roads across the board so they're ironically speedy bastards.

But per their role, attach them to existing formations and they will provide fire support to the assault. This works more in line with what I want for them to be a Heavy Assault Platform and not a entire formation of Super Heavy Doom Tortoises, but also not a single "company" that will get folded like a T-shirt on laundry day.

Also since they use the same names as the Artillery (railway guns) there's now 1000 names on that list. So y'all can go crazy on trying to reach the upper limit

Unless you don't have the No Step Back DLC. Where in which case it's a Support Company with Breakthrough Stats.

New Changes Next Patch

1st 6 images are some new cosmetic changes. No more will the Sierra Enclave have pipe weapons or dynamite sticks!

They shall have actual weapons! And lore explanations as to why!!

7 image is a new Executive Focus in that brings back the Department of Transportation. Which... make sense especially with restoration of roads, railways, sea ports, and limited air travel. I originally had it subsumed by the Department of Industry but better to break it back off as the DoI is heavily focused elsewhere. Also I needed a symmetrical balance for the next agency.

8th is...... yeah that agency. Hide ya dogs. There was a very compelling argument that having these idiots around would actually make sense in trying to clear mined areas, recover dangerous weapons from Raiders and criminals and sell them back to lawful citizens. Abd have it be staffed by people who know shit about firearms. If I can reform the Enclave, I can reform the BADTFL.

New changes coming to the Assault Tank

Unlike before where it was a Company Element you could edit, Assault Tanks will now act more like Land Cruisers from Base Game. A single solitary unit designed to punch through an enemy line, but useless on it's own so you'll need to have them in special formations.

You also cannot edit the Assault Tank Unit, but you can train more of them once you have unlocked them. I'm likely to do this to Liberty Prime as well.

Any feedback on their stats is appreciated. I'm still learning how to properly balance stats.

Also there's a hard limit of 500 of these things, but I don't think anyone will ever get that high.

Stuff from Discord

Very minor inconsequential gfx change, but it's one I've wanted for awhile.

Also bonus event explaining Reform to people who's information capabilities aren't based on extrapolation of.

New Event and Cosmetics!!!

Next update, ERX will have wider events. Also replaced the top "Crimson Caravan" with the US Eagle Seal.

No, we have not integrated the Wider Events mod. This is in house cause fuck me, I need wider events because events are getting too long! I am not sure what will happen IF you have wider events on.

And the new show intro event. Which is much nicer to folks now

Second image is new Air Equipment. Some cosmetic, some not.

The "Black Cat" is just a reskinned tier 2 recon plane, and no it's not carrier capable or any of that. I might add something to make it's range farther, but for the most part it's good enough for what it is. No it's not part of the Naval Bombers!

The remaining 4 are reworked Naval Bombers, now with better naval attack and targeting, and the Gunship Naval Variant is in that line. This is really only a thing if you operate carriers, but given how long range bombers are (and how many AFB I give) this is more just for fluff and personal choice.

Malpais Trial Events

Just a disclaimer, Given each trial is 14 events long, and there's 7, technically 8, leaders, totalling 98-112 events, you only try the 'Leader' of the Legion. Even I can't justify forcing y'all to sit through around 100 events.

So if by chance Malpais is in charge when you go to war with the Legion, the events will appear. I've never seen that happen, so I have no problem showing these.

Plus I finally got to play Callahan and Aguilla off eachother.

EDIT: Disclaimer 2: All the events are very formulaic and follow the same basic principle. So no, I wont ne adding in a feature to read all of them.

Least not currently

For want of a Chair

Im experimenting more with these and hope to do more with the other paths.

u/Gift-Forward — 14 days ago

In the spirit of Air Assault, I got these fixed!!

These are for ALL paths, and act as a motorized powerful scout and anti-tank support unit, respectively. Ideal for Motorized units or Sherman Doctrine Units.

Credit to Gloomy for the artwork of the H-95s, and credit to Foxy for balancing them

Ignore the max speed reduction. That's me messing up the transport again.

And the 1 manpower requirements. Whoops. But hey! Got em working!!

Gojira by Nuclear Forrest

Commissioned for the HOI4 OWB Submod Enclave Reborn Redux.

Tanks are a combination of the Fallout 4 Tanks and Operation Anchorange Chimera Tanks to more resemble the MBT-92/Maser Cannon Tanks from Godzilla.
