“Hey Ginger, can you do me a fave? I had to go to the hospital. Can you let everyone know I’m okay but can’t play right now!” And added “It will probably be a couple more days til they let me go home”

We will keep you updated as we can, and this is coming from me:
I feel it is of utmost importance to remember to respect all our friends’ right to decide what they want to or are able to share, without being pressured and badgered. For any of these situations, for any of our members.

I will NEVER push someone for further information or discussion, I am steadfast in that, nor should anyone else, and I know you guys understand and agree, and remain respectful of people’s wishes and privacy, allowing them to get the rest they need, focus on recovery and getting on the mend. 😊

I weeded out some of the lesser used flairs just for housekeeping’s sake, that doesn’t mean they’re not a “feature” if you will, it’s just to keep it simpler, less cluttered, and because we fortunately have new members aboard- less confusing.
Flairs are just there for a little added fun, and occasionally to help connote it’s content, if need be.

To clarify for our new frens, unlike LCA, this sub not only welcomes humans, we in fact encourage them. You may choose Catspeak or Humanspeak or a combination of both! 😊
The parentheses are optional as well, here. I rarely use them because I’m a horrific typist and always in a hurry.

Bear with me on this post as far as typos, grammar, and whatever else mistakes I make, I’m going to be very forthright, and what I ask in return is that you READ this and HEED this.

Please, this is me about to get on my knees and beg some of you to BE PATIENT. BE UNDERSTANDING. BE AWARE and realize we are human beings on the other side of this screen doing our UTMOST BEST.

Literally around the clock, six days straight and counting, to the detriment of our own health, well being, our pets, our families, our jobs/businesses to - no hyperbole - stop dead in our tracks, drop everything, snap into position and hit the ground running, as fast as we can, running blind, a marathon we neither trained for or saw coming.

Although it’s a very small percentage, there is a faction that’s making us feel like that’s just not good enough. To the critics, take a moment to put yourself in our shoes. If you had the slightest idea of how hard we have been struggling with this, the physical and mental toll trying to make what seemed like the impossible possible, I know you would see it differently and maybe not beat the drum so hard. Please. Please.

I’ll state this once again…. We are BOUND by certain rules, we are bound by the Rules of Reddit, we are bound by certain laws, the laws of Reddit, the laws of the towns, cities, municipalities, counties, states, country…. We CANNOT, we WILL NOT break, bend, test, overstep, understep, undermine THE LAW. THERE ARE LAWS.

We did not write those laws, we did not pass those laws, we had nothing to do with the inception of the laws, we may not even like the laws but we WILL OBEY THEM. So please understand, that’s the way it is and nothing we can do will change that, no matter WHAT WE MAY THINK OF THEM.

FUNDRAISING: We reached the small goal we needed to complete the next step. Getting the other two safely into foster care. We did not want to take more than we absolutely needed at the time, which brings me to:

PLEASE REMEMBER! We are not a charity sub, we are not set UP to be a charity sub, we do not have the manpower, we do not have the set up so we are setting it up as we GO. We did not have the immediate knowledge of HOW. This takes time, research, more research, knowledge of, again THE LAW not only the LAW of Reddit but the laws in states, countries etc

During this time, an individual took her cats, WITHOUT PERMISSION, WITHOUT CONSENT and surrendered them to the NEBRASKA HUMANE SOCIETY.
The NHS has put OUR FRENS up for adoption.

You know their mom, I’m sure every single one of you reading this has been awarded her pink heart award.
We have been working frantically to temporarily halt the adoption.
Now we need your help.

COMING SOON TO AN ICBGC THEATER NEAR YOU…MOOBIE TOOSDAY MASH UPS!

Wait, what? YES!

Whadaheckizzat? Well, the thing is, there are some phenomenal, beloved, outstanding films out there that although worthy, might not stand up to a MT by itself. What does that mean? Well, the main criteria is what will it spark. Huh?
I’ll let you in on a little secret: Moobie Toosday ain’t about the movies. Not really.

It’s about you all.
It’s about lighting a little fire under your creativity, imagination, humor, artistry. Why?

Walp, there’s one thing I have noticed all this time modding two subs and creating this one. Besides your beautiful kind hearts, you guys are INSANELY TALENTED! You’re brilliant! You’re artists, you’re writers, you’re poets, you’re photographers, you’re hilarious …..sweet jeeeeeeeezus are you hilarious! And because I am the eternal camp counselor, I want to make sure you all know it, and exercise it (not that way, Smuffi, put the holy water away) and flex that muscle. Use it or lose it. Too much potential here!

All that is a long way around saying we want to give you more to work with, and some movies, even the best, the most favorite- might not give you all much to work with, for many reasons.
Nobody wants 40 posts of pretty much the same thing, and that’s got nothing to do with your talents, it’s got to do with what you’re given, what you’re working with. So, instead of just “noping” on some films that might not stand alone, why not mix ‘em altogether?

So, I thought let’s try Moobie Toosday Mash Ups. And the Mash Up can be ever changing. Genres, actors, directors, years, eras, there’s a lot we can do with themes. I have no doubts that you all will continue to knock it out of the park! We will still do regular Moobie Toosdays, too, no worries!

And thank you guys, for all you do here, being here, participating, please keep it up, you bring such joy to so many people. I know I say this all the time but you guys really don’t know the reach and effect you and your fur babies have not only on each other, but other people out there. They’re out there, I promise you, I hear about it all the time.
