A friend of mine (who isn’t on Reddit) sent me this. They played a game against someone named “JD rigged it”. First hand of the game, the player gets a 29. My friend sent “really?!” in the chat and the player responded “you were warned”. Statistically, this is pretty incredible. Has anyone else experienced instances on Cribbage JD that seem to defy the odds?
I am in the early stages a planning a trip to Germany about a year from now. I am finding that some towns pop up quite often while researching places to visit. Some examples are Bamberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, and Heidelberg. There are so many towns in Germany that are beautiful and picturesque.
Because of this, I’m curious- what is daily life like for the locals in these towns? Is it expensive to live in these places (buying a home/rent, overall expenses)? What do most people do for work? Is tourism the biggest driver of the economy in these towns?
I am planning a visit to Munich next year and would like to get a tattoo while I’m in town.
I’m undecided on the exact tattoo. Currently I’m thinking a traditional style tattoo or a scene from a Struwwelpeter story (Die gar traurige Geschichte mit dem Feuerzeug -or- Die Geschichte vom Daumenlutscher). I will want a colored tattoo.
If anyone could provide some recommendations for artists, I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m teaching myself German and recently learned the word for “seal”- Seehund. I made a comment to a friend that Seehund is such an appropriate name for this animal since (I thought) it translates to “Sea Dog”.
My friend pointed out:
Meer = Sea
See = Lake
Therefore
Seehund = Lake Dog
Seeman = Lake Man
Can anyone explain why these two words are this way and not “Meerhund” and “Meerman”?
