I've thought of two games that'll keep me hooked and that's Fire red (switch) and BDSP (don't laugh please)

and my reason why.

Fire red PROS: I love the old graphics and it's a very calm game to play/shiny hunt on and I'm thinking of doing a shiny living Dex in it so I won't get bored on what to do in that game.

Fire red CONS: it doesn't have an online network to battle people (I have two switches so I don't need to worry about trading) and I have to wait till Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald to come out to complete the Dex.

BDSP PROS: it has an online network so I can battle people and a battle tower so I can try and see how high I can get in there and I like using the PokèRadar for hunting.

BDSP CONS: I don't even think it'll have people online that want to battle and going for anything other than a radar hunt will take a century to get cause of the slow load up time.

Thank you for reading. I would put sword and shield in here as well but I've done everything from living Dex with DLC included and I shiny hunted a total of 800+ thanks to 2020 and I don't like max den adventure cause after the 3rd one I start to fall asleep

I want to play Emerald but I'm scared of the dry battery happening.

And I also want to play fire red so I don't have to deal with the battery issue and because it's fire red

Or is it like when a game is low populated and wait for the weekend type of thing (which I don't mind tbh)
