Just yapping

Ive been a kpop fan since 2020 in highschool im 22 now (about to be 23 this year). In my case, im starting to feel as though im outgrowing, needing to focus on responsibilities in life. Or maybe im just having a little crisis. I just graduated college and feel as though time is running out, no time to be fan-girly, y’know? Recently, i notice that whenever i see tiktoks of kpop or other things i find it hard to feel that excitement that i use to have 2-3 years ago, maybe im comparing myself to what others my age im doing. I go on tiktok and see a bunch of kids in the comments compared to 2 years ago when i believed most was around my age or older. Like i wonder if people my age are still talking about their biases and keeping up with comebacks? Tbh, it was kinda bittersweet that Heeseung left Enhypen since ive been a huge fan of all 7 since they debuted, but i believe it was for the best. I had huge crushes on them then and still kinda do now, but even saying that feels childish at times.

does anyone else thinks kpop is dying? or is it just me?

I’ve been seeing people leaving their groups left and right. Personally, I believe the last time i felt kpop was at its prime was 2023 and maybe up until the end of 2024. but then it all started to go downhill from there. I dont know if im the only one seeing this but i just thought id share

am i being dramatic?

this may sound dumb…but lately I’m starting to find things that i used to like childish, like writing fanfiction, collecting stickers, catching up my favorite kpop band. maybe its because im 22 goin on 23 this year, i graduated college last month, now looking jobs. Sometimes I think it’s because i tend to compare what people my age are doing on social media. Yet at the same time I feel like liking these things are all normal.
