is it better to be slightly overweight or underweight?

on my situation(1,70m tall, 18M), is it better to be 50kg, with little to no muscle mass, or 75kg, probably looking kinda chubby, with still little muscle mass and a high body fat percentage?

like, being 50kg now or gaining 20kg of fat and being 70?
