Those who had MFI/dna frag issues - how many of your day 3 embryos made it to blast?

I’ve heard to expect roughly 50% attrition between day 3 and blast - but curious if people have found it less than this for those with male factor and high dna frag? Our issue is 0% morphology plus 40% dna frag. We used zymot + ICSI but did not opt for a TESE. Currently we have >!14!< embryos at day 3 which I’m feeling hugely greatful for, but our doctor has said to expect attrition before day 6. Curious to know peoples experiences who were dealing with similar issues?

How do you do multiple rounds?!

Had my first ER yesterday - I’m 37 and our known issue was male factor and very high dna fragmentation. Since day 6 of stims I have felt awful - bloating, uncomfortable, pain, trapped wind, and the constant up and down emotions and anxiety over this whole process. It’s been truly awful which came as a big shock to me because anyone I know who has done ivf have said they’ve been fine and it wasn’t as bad as they expected.

We got a call this morning from the clinic to say of 31 eggs retrieved, 22 were mature and 14 fertilised. The attrition shocked me despite knowing that can happen. And I’m now terrified of the drop that will likely occur due to the high dna fragmentation.

I am in so much pain post ER, I’m weeing normally and not being sick so I don’t think OHSS but I’m so bloated, full of wind, constipated, can’t stand up straight without being in pain and just feeling emotionally really really low and can’t stop crying.

I guess my questions are, did anyone stop after 1ER? How can anyone do this multiple times?! I have friends who have done 5 rounds yet I am feeling totally broken after one.
I am desperate to be a mother and worry if this round doesn’t work then the expectation is to keep going but I just don’t know how physically, emotionally (and financially!) people do it. You are all so much stronger than I’m feeling right now.

Sicily, Puglia or Florence?

We’re a couple in our late 30s and we usually like to split our holiday into two - first half staying in the old town/city in a boutique hotel, enjoying being able to walk to restaurants and bars in the evenings and then the second half we stay in a 4/5\* hotel where we can lounge around the pool all day and relax. As an example, we went to Menorca last year and loved the mix of beaches, adults only boutique hotels and Ciutadella old towns which was just beautiful to walk around in and eat outside.

We have been to Amalfi coast previously and found it rammed with tourists but obviously, absolutely beautiful.

We have a 10 day holiday planned from 8th June but currently stuck on where in Italy to go! Does any one have recommendations of to visit? We are torn between the east coast of Sicily, Puglia region or Florence and then headed perhaps to Bologna/Lake Garda after.

Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated! We don’t mind renting a car to drive to small towns/beaches etc as long as there is a nice town to base ourselves in.

Day 6 scan - feeling disappointed

It’s my first round of IVF and just had my day 6 scan during stims. I started with 21 follicles at baseline and Dr told me today that only 2 are growing as they should and at 11mm. There are then 14 ranging between 6-8mm.
I have nothing to compare this to but I can’t help but feel disappointed. Given our main issue is MFI (super high dna fragmentation) I was really hoping for a good amount of eggs to start with given our attrition will be high - could the smaller follicles catch up? Is this normal for day 6? It’s so hard to know and my Dr just kept telling me it’s too early to tell.
