I want Obsidian boats

I watched a Developers log video the other day. I saw this game designer say something like.

"I wanted Striders instead of Obsidian boats"

The thing about riding Striders is.............. You need Warped fungus which only spawns in one Nether biome!

Having telepathy and a blindfold is essential if you want to be safe from intelligent creatures who may or may not have a wand

There I was as an Orc wizard

Intrinsic Poison resistance

External Magic resistance

*Blam* I lost to a Fire wand

Did the women sleep with Charlie only because he was rich and or lived in a house by the sea

When Alan Harper pretended to be Charlie Harper the only woman he could get was someone who had already slept with Charlie Harper but wasn't into her dressing up as a Nazi.

Does anyone know why there's a Silver fish mob spawner outside the End Portal?

Is there a narrative or environmental story telling reason for this?

I know if you throw enough Ender pearls you could spawn Ender mites. Could be something to do with it.

If Minecraft 2 had Minecraft 1's Nether I would have won this a bajillion years ago

I'm almost in a state of outer body experience right now.

I just lost my current HC run because I didn't know that if you mine gold nuggets out of the wall. Piglins attack you. But they LIKE Gold armour. They LIKE to trade for Gold bullions. OKAY; So maybe they see it as stealing. Buuuuuuuuuut how could they possibly know the Gold I'm wearing / trading isn't the Nether's gold nuggets from further away!?

Turns out Minecarts sink into the lava if they fall in stationarily whereas in motion they turn into a pickupable item

As far as logic goes. I was recreating the conditions of being sat on a Strider, as the Strider was sat in the Minecart, as I was approaching the lava.

So what I've actually discovered then is a bug. An exploit. Motion makes the Minecart not sink into the lava.

Edit:- To put it another way; As long as the Minecart wheels are turning, it doesn't sink into the lava.

Edit:- Bedrock edition.

How many times did you lose to an optical illusion?

I remember I was in a deep cave once. I went down. But the way the blocks lined up, it looked like a flat undisturbed vertical wall. No sign I mined down from it.

I got lost then lost. I went to look for it in observer mode. I was astonished as I pieced together what happened.

Genuinely the most joy I had was playing old edition on classic sized map

It was the closest I ever got to being inspired enough to build something non essential. Knowing I would see it often due to the smaller than small world size.

I found a beached abandoned ship. I put a Nether portal on it. I put Snowlems on the decks. As I shovelled the snow they left behind to gather snowballs to throw at Blaze rods, I told myself that I was, scrubbing the decks.

If... IFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF... that world had of spawned the End portal. I would have been left so satisfied. But it didn't.

Try it yourself. (As long as you don't mind the end portal most likely not spawning)

Not being able to find a Fortress feels too much like punishment for me

I broke a block over my head, lava got me. I wasn't expecting lava so I couldn't just place a block because I had none to hand.

Dislike my post all you want.

I just think it's really suspicious how 'The End' never has this problem.

Like you don't turn up at 'End City' then look for the 'Ender Dragon' do you?

The developers could have so easily made it the 'old edition Nether' then in there have a portal to the 'new edition Nether'. Unlocking it as it were. Everyone wins. But no. They didn't.

I've racked up 600 hours in total. (Not all Hardcore mind)

I give up.

There is no 'beating/winning' MC

You see it all the time on YouTube. 'I beat MC.' 'I won Hardcore.'

The developers stopped seeing this as a game since Notch's Survival mode days when Spiders were more aggressive and the only thing you could eat were Bacon, no running, no shield no beds so on and so on.

In fact; It was also supposed to be a single session game. You start in a procedurally generated world. Get to stand on your own two feet. Then............................. Start a new world.

What people call, the finale, The End dimension, the Ender dragon, is actually, (now I know this is gonna be difficult to take in) just an update, called, Adventure update. The clue is that it's not actually ending credits. It's a poem. Edit:- I have since learned the end credits come after the poem.

I used to staunchly defend that this is a game, but, even in old edition, if the only way to "progress" is to find a procedurally generated lava pool to make obsidian. Then it's not exactly, go from a to b, like how games are supposed to.

I'm posting this in the hope that people who have been, 'trying to win', for months have a short cut to this shift of consciousness.

Multi-tasking; Looking for secret doors and traps at the same time

I never consciously made the connection the hero is checking for both simultaneously.

This actually for the first time encourages me to look for traps more.

I got frustrated at not finding a fortress so I attacked zombie pigmen

I think I've really hit the nail on the head this time. I've reached enlightenment.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.

See this as a game.

Ever since the Nether update.

THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY. (Microsoft Mojang)

Clearly don't.

Fell off a ladder

Are you not allowed to place ladder while falling?????

The set up seemed pretty good. I was gonna place a ladder all the way down a 1 block hole that goes all the way down to Bedrock.

It was originally a 2 block hole which I filled as I went back up.

There were torches along the way.

I was drowning in a head height Netherrack block then got off the saddled Strider then fell in the Lava

I am sooooooooooo close to winning now.

I even know that as soon as I find a Blaze rod spawner, I'll put up a Portal then put a bunch of Snowlems on the earth realm side to make snowballs with. To then go back in to throw at the Blaze rods.

MC HC is nigh impossible on PS5

Let's just say it as it is. The title speaks for itself.

To put it another way. Even if I was offered £1,000 right now to beat it, I would say with an enlightened voice "No"

I lost today because Phantoms got me. I was punished for not going to bed. For not having the tools to make a bed. There is no day countdown for their arrival. ALL THEY DROP IS SOMETHING FOR AN END GAME PLUS ITEM.

Yes I could have dug a little hole or gone into a cave or something. but by that point the damage to my psychedelic was already too great.

I'm into my 6th month of trying. I even found out and used to my advantage that you can put bundles in bundles.

This run was the closest I have ever got. I even ran around on the Lava in the Nether riding a Strider. I brushed past a Nether fortress.

"It's a casual game HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It's for children HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA."

I literally took 45 minutes going from a to b in the overworld to collect the warped fungus from one Nether portal to bring it to another Nether portal. I couldn't travel in the Nether as..... well..... the developers may have actually forgotten that there's something called... FALL DAMAGE.

I think on PC Java version it would still be hard but not nigh impossible.

If I had of known the game was nigh impossible, I would have never bothered trying.
