This business left crumpled up rugs outside on the curb overnight. A woman passing by thought they'd been discarded, and as MANY of us in Bushwick have done before, she innocently took them home thinking they were free.

The business owner (Chyelle) proceeded to file a police report and went on a rampage to get multiple local news outlets to blast this poor woman's face all over the news/social media. She leveraged her large social media following (@fbmarketslut) to falsely accuse the woman who believed she was stooping, and caused her a great amount of unnecessary embarrassment and distress.

The stuff Chyelle publicly blasted about this woman was uncalled for and false (thief, stole with intent, etc). A simple "Not For Grabs" sign could have maybe avoided this.

Some of the Bushwick community has gathered in support of the defamed woman via google reviews, however, Chyelle is asking friends to report negative Google reviews so they are removed.

EDIT: I do not want to encourage "fake" reviews or review bombing. If you live in Bushwick, and feel compelled to provide feedback as a member of the community, this is the only medium I saw available to do that. Use your best moral judgement and let's just hope Chyelle can learn how to be a better person, business owner, and community member from this experience.

Two days ago, a neighbor of mine found this dog running around the vicinity of Pennsylvania Avenue in Brooklyn. He notified the local precinct and left his contact information. I took the dog in until we could get her scanned for a microchip. I brought her to the ACC in Ridgewood yesterday, and she doesn’t have a microchip. They added her to the found dog list, but she will only remain on that list for a total of 72 hours.
I’m sharing photos and videos of her in the hope that people will share and repost them in any Brooklyn groups they may be part of
We need to locate her owner otherwise I’m going to find her a permit at home.
