If you have insomnia, please clarify if you can’t sleep because you worry about VSS or you can’t sleep independently of it and you don’t worry about your visual symptoms at all (say, you were born with it).
If you’ve tried pharmaceutical-grade lithium for BIND, what effect did it have on your sleep and benzo injury in general?
Does high-dose Lamictal make you less smart?
My doc suggested I may have something bipolar-adjacent, not necessarily bipolar. Basically my only symptom is life-ruinous insomnia and all that comes with it. In case the rest of the sleeping meds fail, of which there’s not many left, I might be trialing either lamotrigine or lithium to see if they improve sleep.
He said he had patients like me in his practice whose insomnia went away on them but not on sleep-specific meds. I trust him, of course, and will be sure to, but I wonder how many people here take them for this purpose?
Also, do you have any daytime side effects from them?
