Seven Solid Years - Emmi Bag
Bought this backpack back in 2019 for my uni. Started using the same for work from 2023. Changed zips once in 2025. Still looking tough and would probably go for another 5. Go for the brand.
Most affordable city?
Nanbargaley, Salem has been known for its affordability.
Salem had been ranked in india top 10 and ranked as number 1 in TN for ease of living makes it one of the most desirable places for people who wish to lead a simple life.
I also personally feel Salem is one of the most cost efficient places, be it food, clothing, basic services, transport (especially share auto service with 10-20 rupees mark).
Idha pathi enna nenakuringa? In what ways you have felt Salem as a better alternative to other places when it comes to affordability and ease of living?
What's your best thing about salem?
Nanbargaley, naama kandipa studies kaga vo, illa work or other reasons kaga vo, veliya thangi irundhirupom. Apdi irukapa, What are the things you missed about salem? And what are the things u saw or experienced in other places which made you think, Salem la idhu irundha nalla irukum nu.
Ennoda personal opinion enna na:
I miss Salem the most for its slow paced beautiful life. In Chennai, life will never be at rest, chasing things, getting things done, catching up with movies. Oru amaidhiye irukadhu. Traffic, rush, and crowds all frustrate me.
Mylai, you beauty!
Chennai ppl, what's your favorite go to place in Chennai?
I just love Mylapore. The local train journey from Velachery, the elegant temple, the numerous calm n composed kittens in it, theppa kulam, vibrant roadside shops, colorful native vegetables shops, Jannal Kadai, mylai filter coffee, boli stalls and not what not.
It's a place I go to get some headspace, just observing, just existing.
Ungaluku andha mariyana place sollunga..

Glad and excited to have found our own sub!
Hey gang! I have seen subs of many other districts like cbe, madurai and felt why there isn't a sub of our own. Finally found it! Looking forward building a healthy community where we can make each other's lives better.
Cheers!🎉
Story of my Pattu!
I'd always been a dog lover but due to my mom's restrictions, I couldn't get to shower my love with one. It went on like that till I was 23. After these long years, I decided to get a puppy. I knew she needed a lovely companion while I was away for work. I convinced my mum to get a lovely doggie. I loved golden retriever puppies very much. Thought them to be adorable fluffy creatures. Without a second thought, I bought a golden retriever puppy in March 2025. We named him Bubbles. We were so happy. My mum treated him like a precious little son. Bought him clothes and treats. He lit up our little world with joy, affection and innocence. My mum would video call me when I'm at work and show him to me. I loved and cherished their bond and was grateful that I did something good for my mum.
We vaccinated him, took him to the vets often. Unfortunately, parvo took him within the 2nd month. It was devastating. I would not say we tried everything we could. I still feel guilty for not having taken him to a different multi-speciality pet clinic which is a bit far away instead of trusting the local vet. My mum was so lost, she didn't eat for two days. The guilt drained our family's peace for quite some time.
Life went on like that, every time I saw a puppy on the road, it would make my eyes well up with tears. I would go and treat them. There was a void always. Asking myself why we couldn't get the happiness of having a puppy. But I didn't have the heart to get one. I was so afraid of the past that I felt it was better to leave those things.
One year later, on April 2026, I went to play cricket in my native where I went for elections. While playing, there was this cute little white puppy running towards me. She was so cute and adorable that I did not have the heart to leave her. I was afraid too. Thoughts went on my mind, whether to get her or I might regret not buying a golden retriever again. Eventually, I could not resist the precious infront of me and took her home. And that was the best decision ever. She's the most loving and adorable creature ever and is my mum's answer to her life long desire for a daughter(She has two sons).
She named her Pattu(Silk/Dear in English). She puts bindi on her which made my heart melt.💌
Now, my mum's days are filled with Pattu, following her everywhere, showering love, getting loads of love back. My father adores her and couldn't stop giving her treats. The feeling of having a pet is wholesome and I was so excited to meet her after a month. We have completed the 2nd vaccination last week, she's better than ever. I'm so happy right now for the decision I have made that day. And grateful to have her in my life.♥️
The video attached is the moment I saw her.
I'll attach the pic of bubbles and the pics of her in the comments.
