Built a Chrome extension that filters flights around your schedule — tired of opening 20 tabs for every weekend trip
I’m studying in Barcelona, and a couple of weeks ago I had a free weekend and wanted to travel somewhere. Since I didn’t have a specific destination in mind, I had a lot of options and was curious what places I could get to that were fun, not too far, and relatively cheap. My final class ended at 7:15 on Thursday, and I needed to be back by 2:30 on Monday. This meant I could leave Thursday night and come back Monday morning, leave Friday morning and come back Sunday night, and next thing you know, I had 20 tabs open with a bunch of different combinations that I could barely keep track of. I thought, “Wouldn’t it be easier if I could just type in my constraints and get only flight options that fit them?” So I built a Chrome extension that lets you type your constraints in plain English and filters out every flight that doesn't fit. I’ve been using FlightFinder to find the best trips for the last couple of weeks, and I can do it in half the time it used to take. I’m looking for 10 people to install the extension, plan a trip with it, and tell me if it worked and if not, where it broke. I really appreciate it!
