NCAA rule changes?

Saw a Minnesota gymnast (Teryn) post a video on TikTok training a new single bar release when she previously did a Maloney+Pak routine. “I have to learn a new bar routine since they wanna change the rules”.

What are the new rules? Or proposed rules?

If schools are test optional why take SAT?

Hi, mom here of a rising junior who is a straight A student, taking two AP classes. She has a list of like 30+ schools she’s looking at right now and ALL of them are test optional. She took the PSAT last year and bombed it, like didn’t even score 1000. If all these schools are test optional is even worth me pushing SAT prep classes on her, like can they actually help get her score high enough to make a difference. What’s the point if there’s zero chance she scores high enough to help with any kind of scholarship?

Tesla + Sierra EV + future 3rd EV - charging logistics

Hey all, Tesla owner for 7+ years now and have a 14-50 plug at home I’ve been happily using to charge. Just purchased a Sierra EV for my husband and thankfully it came with the correct cord and plug so no issues there.

My question is charging both cars, which option would yall recommend or what other options do I have. None feel ideal to me.

  1. Use what I have, swap cords every other day, doable, but annoying to unplug/plug.

  2. Use one cord + adaptor and swap charging days. Probably not ideal, my husband may need to charge everyday depending on how far his job site is that day. And which cord do I use, the GM one since I Tesla comes with the adaptor?

  3. Fast charge the Sierra, trickle charge the Tesla. Not ideal, would need to use an extension cord to reach (or install an outlet closer)

  4. What’s the best option to split and plug both into the wall outlet I have, hopefully without spending a ton of $$.

Also just to throw a wrench in things to think for the future, I’ll likely get a 3rd EV for the household in ~6 months(my teen is getting the Tesla). But my company will reinburse me up to $2200 for a charger install for that one, no idea the logistics of that and what my electric can actually handle. lol future problem, but figured I’d add that in, in case it changes anyone’s opinion.

New owner - how to use Tesla chargers?

Hi, sorry in advance if these are dumb questions. Just picked up a 2026 Sierra EV, switching from Tesla(since 2018).

Do I need to buy an adaptor to use Tesla chargers?

I have a 2022 LR Y, 7 seater. 100k miles.

I just got a new job that comes with a company vehicle so I don’t need a personal vehicle anymore, trying to decide if I save the Y for my daughter who turns 16 in 4 months, or sell it and figure something else out for her. (She’s saved almost $3k of her own money to put towards a car, we’ve agreed to help with the rest)

I owe ~$20k on the loan and have roughly 2 years of $800/month payments left. Carvana is telling me around $15k value, curious what i could get private party, enough to break even on the loan? Would be nice to get that $800/month back.

Or should I just keep the car for my daughter to drive. At 100k miles I’ve so far had zero issues, but worried there might be some major costs soon as the car gets older. Plus 2 more years of $800/month.
