I see a lot of mixed info regarding multiple subs

I see a lot of sources say they should be in opposed corners of the room but then I watch YouTube videos of 100k theater rooms made by professionals and both subs are at the front of the room and idk what’s real. So which is it?

In a bit of quagmire with center channel + tv

Building a theater room. Getting the 98 qm8k and I want to just use the included stand and don’t want to mount it because it’s already bordering on too high with the entertainment stand I have for it but I am unsure what to do about a center channel. Any decent one is too big it’ll block the bottom of the screen

I am getting my garage drywalled. The garage is 400sqft and 1.5 of the walls are already finished so its 1.5 walls because I'm not replacing the garage door. So really half of a 400sqft room. I just need it insulated, drywall and furring strips. The guy quoted me for like 6 or 7k and he said that was only if I did it under the table without filing permits and stuff. He said that if he filed permits and everything the cost would be doubled.

I should run from this company right?

Long story short I’m converting my 21x21 garage into a theater. I’m doing 7.2.4 so 6 speakers + center. seating will be in the center of the room. I’m trying to figure out if I should do towers or bookshelf for the surround. Mostly I’m trying to figure out if towers will work at all. The reason being I already have plenty of tower speakers and obviously they’re easier to setup but I’m concerned about the sound being blocked by the seating. I’m getting mixed info. AI has been telling me that with the size of the room towers are fine so idk.
