CRM Is just a band aid for Andrew Lincoln departure.

The CRM was a last minute greedy corporate decision to keep Andrew Lincoln as long as they can without killing Rick. Yes helicopters and a secret giant military existing still decades into the apocalypse is so realistic.

I actually can’t believe some think CRM has existed since the beginning of the show. Rick seeing a helicopter in the beginning wasn’t the CRM it was Frank Darabont way of showing the remnants of the US military.

Negan bad post are so annoying (short rant) 💀

Why do some condemn fans for liking Negan? He’s suppose to be polarizing that’s the point. Why are y’all applying modern morality on a character that lives in a society that has collapsed?!! Matter a fact a society that’s literally based on the apocalypse. Y’all are the same ones to turn around and cheer for murder jacket Rick.

This would’ve been a good ending.

I’m still shocked they did a season 4 it feels so disconnected from seasons 1-3. Say what you want about ward but I miss.

Thank GOD they don’t own the IP!

AMC only holds the rights to the television show which is why they can keep doing spinoffs. While Robert Kirkman owns the ip which means we can still get faithful adaption.

Jon Bernthal has been making bank in Hollywood.

Spiderman brand new day and The Odyssey two of the biggest films this year. He also won a Emmy 2024 for best guest star! My favorite actor post TWD.

Reminder this is how Daryl got to France.

So realistic, he didn’t even starve or slip out.

You know media literacy is dead when you see people applying modern morality in a show about the apocalypse.

The whole point is that the apocalypse forces people into impossible choices. You can still criticize a character’s decisions, but judging them as though they’re living in a society with morals misses a big part of what the story is telling us.

It’s hard to believe Twd (Show) never truly ended meanwhile the comics ending.

Carl reading to his daughter Andrea about her grandfather Rick Grimes.

The Carol glazing on this sub is ridiculous

A lot of what she did throughout the show was unrealistic the woman was pushing 60 and acting like Rambo. She’s not that interesting and I wish she met her end way sooner. She also ruined Daryl Dixon (show).

Twd being ensemble hurt the show and Carl

The comics are about a father and son not a group of survivors. Why do you think the comics ended with Carl not some big happy family dinner? Carl was pretty sidelined season 5. This is also the season I feel like the show writing and filler episodes didn’t make much sense

The show had so much potential to becoming a legacy show but most fans just started hate watching. The show also never ended just did spinoffs AMC didn’t want to pay Darabont for season 12.

Why do woman in twd lose their individualism once they get in a relationship?

Men are allowed to be individuals in the show but for women it’s always about “My man”. I liked Michonne better before she got with Rick she wasn’t all about Rick she was an individual badass who managed to survive without any help. Also Andrea when she gets with governor I just don’t get her behavior. This isn’t the same Andrea we saw when she was in the farm. Maggie and Glenn don’t even have individualism they are one dimensional. This sucks because they both had so much potential being their own characters. Not characters we know because they are a couple.

I miss her…

Don’t yuck my yum - but I really miss Rhaenys. The show isn’t the same without her, and I understand it’s the story. She was my favorite character of all the adaptations. Team Black didn’t only lose their best dragonrider, they lost the one person who consistently brought wisdom into every room she entered. She wasn’t driven by ego unlike many others. She wasn’t trying to prove herself. She wasn’t blinded by revenge. She had already experienced the greatest political disappointment of her life, and instead of letting it harden her, she let that be the lesson. She guided Rhaenyra at times with that wisdom and I think Rhaenyra is suffering without her presence. Laugh if you will but when I am facing tough moments I find myself thinking what would Rhaenys do? She’s become like a personal hero in a way to me - a lot like Eowyn did in LOTR.. I’d like to also mention she’s proof that a woman can still be a sexy badass over 40!
