Regarding how the body responds to a bite from a rabid animal
I’ve looked up this question and google keeps contradicting itself so I thought I’d ask people informed on the subject. I was curious, if a person who was previously vaccinated to rabies gets a secondary exposure not long after completing vaccination does the new bite itself cause the body to produce more (new) antibodies similarly to how boosters do on top of your already existing antibodies, or upon a new bite will your body only react with its already existing antibodies?
