Looking for folks to help with my animation project!

I'm developing an animated series set in the Edwardian era (1901-1910). All of the characters are anthropomorphic dogs, and they rely on what they were bred for to find jobs that suit their skills. Hunting dogs are police, herding dogs are guards, gun dogs are detectives, scent hounds are chefs, sight hounds are firefighters, and so on.
The story is a mix of tragedy, crime, mystery, and slice of life. The main character is a field spaniel detective, and the central mystery is the unsolved murder of the woman he loved.
I'm working on this solo, but I really don't want to lose this idea to burnout. I don't have any money to give, so it's more of a passion project. I'm looking for character designers and/or story collaborators who'd enjoy helping me build this world together. I'm absolutely up for giving credit, shared ownership, and/or skill swaps (helping with your projects, if you have any).
If this sounds like your kind of thing, comment or DM me! I can also send you my Discord in a DM to talk more about it.
Thank you super duper much for reading!!

Help-

I’m making a just a pilot for now- but I was really struggling with how things would work. I’m the only person working on this so that’s probably why, but it’s more of how things would work socially? This takes place durring the Edward era though…..uh…Okay- let me think…detective work. The main character is a detective. And yes since many of the characters in this are canine breeds, they would need to use scent trails and stuff. So how would murders be difficult to them other than it raining, or smoke…interference? How would a detective dog counter that? Would it be based on luck at that point? I dunno if I’m looking at it from small window, but yeah—I’m asking so I can make this the most pawsome thing yet! It would be nice if I could have some of your assistance, please-

The picture is him (the detective) when he was younger, working as a train conductor!

First time—low key lost

This dude is my little guy, but it seems i have misjudged his complexity. I was thinking how do I put these two fellows together without making them look exactly the same and also keeping their own spices. Like one has floppy ears and the other those back sharp ones. I just wanna know if there was any way I could do this, or just drop one of them and keep em separate. I’m only working on the bace right now but yeh-
