Is this game worth coming back to ? [Short rant]

So this is less a question and more a rant. I think all of the reworks and revamps of towers that shouldn't have been touched in the first place are what ruined the game for me. I'd say the grind was enjoyable, it helped me turn my brain off and relax. After some of the "best" towers like Accel, Gladiator and Warden got reworked/revamped and were essentially ruined for zero reason, I left. I did not want to grind another 5 hours for engineer which, at the time of me quitting, was basically the only good DPS tower left that wasn't a golden.

It was demoralising to see all of my best towers that I worked hard for get ruined by some idiotic rework. I was about level 218 when I quit (which I think was considered high at the time ?) and went onto other TD games before quitting the genre entirely. Especially after Gsoldier (who was considered good after the buffs) was powercrept back into being the worst golden tower.

After seeing the recent posts here, about all the stuff we've been waiting for and speaking about for years — like evolved towers (I think those were teased ?) and some HC towers we were waiting for for so long — not to mention new maps, consistent events, other cool new towers, etc. I was more and more tempted to start this game again. I'm just not sure at all if it's even worth it. I don't know if I'll enjoy it after not playing the game for 3-4 years.

Gonna reccomend some shows I think are good because I'm bored rn

The rules of engagement

The Big Bang Theory

The World According to Jim

Married with Children

This post is probably gonna get deleted for this but I also reccomend watching Who Finds a Friend Finds a Treasure, it's more of a movie than a show but it's funny

YouTube genuinely made ads so fucking intrusive that once you get an ad you can't wipe this shit off your screen. Like you genuinely can't do anything.
