Kasa Com update!
Been working on this. Still need to get the white lettering on the top and figuring out the green brim. Gotta make it have Leds and been translucent. Experimenting with that for now. Excited to be able to offer this when it's done.

Hey all. I'm working on the Kasa hat for someone and I'm conflicted about color. In some pictures it's a light tan/brown like a traditional tatami floor color. In others it's like a neon metallic orange. His weapon has a lot of copper colors to it so I'm testing a chrome copper look. The half mask in the middle is my other color of choice. It's a lot more involved to paint but has a nice silver base with a orange/amber clear coat that goes on top. Do you guys think the copper color currently on it would be lore correct or should I go thru the effort of doing the whole orange part of the helmet like that mask?
Any other paint choices thoughts are appreciated as well.
Keep in mind this is a prototype so it's rough in spots.
Have you ever seen someone get hurt and thought to yourself. Man, I sure wish I had a big shiny hat to throw at them to just make their day better. well soon you can! More updates coming as I make progress.
It took me a long time to get the files perfected and printable. Took me me longer to learn how to paint it correctly but Atlas it came out perfect and I've made like 10 of them so far. Hope you guys get a kick out of it.
So I have a product I built for myself which is an environmental control system with leds and fans and heater controls. It's all Arduino based but has a handful of 5v triggered 120v 10 amp relays. I've had several inquiries about selling to others as it. I looked into it and it looks like it needs to be UL certified which is obscenely expensive for just a small business type situation.
Is there a better option than UL or am I just kinda screwed out of making a product by being in the US and have high regulations.
If there's a better subreddit to ask this in. I'd be happy for the direction.
Someone commissioned a staff and I wanted to share the finished product. I didn't like the versions people had made before as it wasn't accurate enough lore wise. So I took the time to get the colors right and everything. It came out great!
Someone reached out and asked if I could make them a Wuyang staff so I obliged
I made a big and little lootbox for someone for a commission. Thought you guys would get a kick out of it.
