This is my 1989 RS, with the 5 speed and 305tbi. The engine and transmission are on their last leg, so I’m tryna decide if I wanna LS swap it, 350 swap it, or sell it. I work for minimum wage, so it will be a long time before I can do either of the swaps, but It’s really hard for me to sell it because it makes me smile every time I see it out in the driveway, and if I sold it, I’d never be able to get another one with the way classic car prices are increasing. I have a lot on my mind, so I’m hoping for some advice from this group

My third gen 305tbi has been having this up and down idle, and it will lag when I am driving it, unless I floor it. I replaced the fuel filter, that helped a little, but it still does this
