What's the best workout equipment for hypertrophy and home gym training?

Hey everyone, I am planning to setup a home gym for my full body workouts because I am tired of driving to the gym every day and waiting for machines at peak hour before work is the only time I can make the gym work. So I am considering a smart home gym machine that could make progress faster without me needing to be an expert. But I also don't have a heap of space, so would like something that might work on the wall in my living room.

You people can suggest me apps or actual home gym equipment with such features mentioned above, I am looking for one of the best home gym stuff that can handles velocity based training also compact and requires less space.

Thanks!

Best supplements for inconsistent digestion 2026

My digestion makes no sense lately 😭
Some days im completely fine, other days i feel off for no clear reason. Same foods, same routine… totally different results. Sometimes its discomfort, sometimes just feels like my stomach isnt processing things right
Starting to think this might be more of a gut balance thing than food itself
Ive been looking into different brands and options, so heres what i found so far:
Ritual – clean ingredients, has gut focused products but more general wellness
Seed – focused on synbiotics (probiotic + prebiotic), more science backed vibe
Live Conscious – big on probiotics + collagen combos, more of an “inside out” approach to gut and overall health
Athletic Greens – all in one greens powder, includes gut support but not only focused on it
Garden of Life – lots of probiotic options, more traditional supplement approach
Im not trying to overcomplicate this, just want something that makes my digestion feel consistent again
If youve tried any of these or found something that helped stabilize your gut, would love to hear what worked for you...

Stuck at the same damn weights forever, any smart home gym tricks that work?

I am stuck in strength plateau for what feels like eternity now. I've been grinding the same home gym setup, pushing the same weights on my full body workout machine, and my body just shrugs like NAH, GOOD ENOUGH. Seriously I am tried reloading, eating more, sleeping as needed, even swapped routines. I just figured out that maybe my workout equipment is the problem. I got the basic things but nothing fancy like those smart home gym systems that supposedly adjust for you. I heard about varying resistance with bands or eccentrics to shock the muscles out of stagnation, and AI tweaking variables so I no more have to think. This just sounds good, but at this point I'll try anything.

What home gym equipment broke your plateau without making you rebuild your whole garage? Specific models or hacks are welcomed, now really got tired of feeling like my gains peaked in high school.

Digital gym vs free weights: what builds more muscle at home?

Hey everyone,

So I've been thinking about upgrading my home gym setup and I'm torn between going with traditional weights or switching to one of those digital gym systems like what techno gym offers. I've got a decent rack already but I'm wondering if there's a real difference in how your muscles respond to constant load versus gravity based resistance. Tbh the appeal of digital is the space saving and the built in programming but I'd hate to waste money if regular weights are just as good for hypertrophy. I also just can't do all of the movements I'd like with my dumbells; well at least not in the same way I can do it at the gym with all of the machines. I've seen some people say the motor controlled tension feels way different and keeps constant tension throughout the whole rep.

Does that matter or is it more marketing coz the price difference is pretty significant too. Therefore I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the investment or if I'll get the same results just sticking with what works. Curious to know that about these smart machines for a full body workout only if they're good for isolation.

Trying to figure out best smart home gym option for small apartments

HI GUYS

So, I’ve been thinking about getting a smart home gym setup for a while now but there’s so many options out there right now that I genuinely don’t know where to start. Like one day I see something about AI coaching being the game changer and the next day someone tells me it’s just gimmick stuff that wears off after a month.

My situation is probably pretty normal. I work from home so having equipment at home will get used. I’m not a complete beginner but I’m definitely not advanced. Been lifting on and off for a few years doing the usual dumbbell and barbell stuff. What I’m looking for is something that tracks what I’m doing, maybe gives me some guidance so I’m not just winging it every session, and ideally doesn’t cost an insane amount.

I keep seeing techno gym thrown around everywhere but the price point is wild. Then there’s all these newer brands popping up that seem cheaper but I have no idea if they’re good or if it’s just hype. I’ve looked at some comparison lists but they all seem to be written in a way that feels kind of fake if that makes sense.

Major things I care about:

- Something that works for full body not just cardio or strength.

- Different resistance modes to scale difficulty since my goals shift depending on what month it is.

- Long term value so I'm not replacing it in two years.

Tbh not sure whether I should grab adjustable dumbbells and call it a day or these smart systems are worth the investment. Feels like I’m missing something about what makes them useful beyond just looking cool. Has anyone used these for more than a few months and stuck with it?

Hair thinning and breaking more than usual… whats going on and how do i fix it?

Ok this has been stressing me out lately

Ive been noticing way more hair falling out in the shower and when i brush it. Like not just a few strands, its enough that i actually stop and look at it

Its not just shedding either, my hair feels weaker overall. More breakage, ends look dry, and its not growing the same. Even when i tie it up, it feels thinner than it used to

Whats confusing is i havent really changed anything. Same shampoo, same routine, no crazy heat styling. If anything ive been trying to be more careful with it

Now im starting to think this might be more of an internal thing than just hair products. Like diet, stress, or missing nutrients or something. Ive seen people say hair is one of the first things to show when your bodys lacking something

I also keep seeing stuff about how hair is made from protein, so if your body doesnt have enough building blocks it just gets weaker over time.

For context, ive been a bit more stressed recently, sleep hasnt been great, and my diet hasnt been the cleanest either so maybe thats part of it

Has anyone gone through something similar and figured out what was causing it? And more importantly what helped fix it before it got worse

I feel bloated after almost everything i eat, doesnt matter if its healthy or not. My stomach just feels tight and uncomfortable for hours after

I havent changed much in my diet, so now im thinking it might be more of a digestion or gut imbalance thing

I’ve seen people mention probiotics but idk if that actually helps

Has anyone dealt with this and know how to fix it?
