Got promoted after switching companies

After two years as a Tech 1, I’ve been promoted to Tech 2.
It happened after I had a conversation with my soon to be employer about what I’m good at, what I genuinely enjoy doing, and the areas I’m still working to get better at. Being honest about both my strengths and areas I need to work on really make them take a liking of me.
I’m young, and by far the youngest guy at both my current and future company, but when they asked if I was ready to step up, I said yes.
You only live once. Excited (and a little nervous) to take on the new responsibilities — wish me luck.

If I’m dating a woman who is a Christian, of course, how should I bring up that I want to raise my children in the orthodox faith?

This is a question that has popped in my mind from time to time again. I was wondering how exactly I should go about this conversation.

I’m a well rounded tech one with two years of experience and another company wants to hire me as a “programmer”

Is there really a difference? I’m tired of the physical work—pulling wire, mounting controllers, and handling all the install tasks—only to later create the database, write the program, and sequence the operations. The engineering is what I love. Watching the AHUs and VAVs exchange signals for cooling requests and air requests in the logic is what truly excites me.

Recently, a friend of my distant family who just happens to own a controls company reached out. They want to hire me because they’re looking for “tech-savvy guys who want to program.” That sounds like exactly the kind of role I’m drawn to.

What exactly would I be getting into? From what I’ve heard, this feels like a door opening for me.

Full body weakness and aches without any other symptoms

22, 5”11 230lbs, non-smoker, male, full body

I began experiencing mild symptoms on Tuesday evening, which became more noticeable and intensified yesterday morning. Today, I’ve felt significantly fatigued all day.
I have the distinct sense that my immune system is activated and fighting something off systemically, but I have no other symptoms at all—no fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, or gastrointestinal issues.
In short, I feel vaguely ill without feeling clearly sick.

For context, I fully recovered from a typical cold about two weeks ago.

I’m planning on leaving a company for one of their competitors

I live in a right to work state, but is there a chance that I could get walked out even though I plan on putting in my two weeks?

Is anyone had this experience in this field?
