i recently started a job installing gutters and have some questions regarding fair wages since im new. im being told things in a roundabout way because the company pays the lead and helper by the linear foot on the truck and its basically up to my lead to negotiate a fair price to pay me as help. just want to make sure its fair. thanks.
I dropped my power supply a few times on vacation and I have heard some pieces rattling in it and dont really want to chance messing up my laptop if its something metal or something that could potentially damage my laptop or motherboard. The power supply still works and charges my laptop like normal though. This might sound dumb to some of you but my question is should i trust buying this new psu from ebay? The distributor told me that it is a third party psu when i asked if it was genuine. Should i really even get a new one or am i overthinking it? Which i do tend to do. Any advice is good advice. My instincts told me to go with the MSI but after reading reviews i guess the gpu is underpowered and i am also seeing the acer nitro has battery drain while plugged in. We have a pretty good coupon (40% off) so both wold be under 400. So lets here it which is better? Or just wait for a better deal entirely and keep her on console for now.
These are my custom fan curve settings in G-Helper that i made for my new (to me) laptop. its the asus rog strix g16 (2023). it has a i9-13980HX and a RTX 4070 in it. can anyone tell me if these are some pretty good settings? after going through a couple of weeks waiting on asus to replace the motherboard because of a manufacturer defect and giving me the updated MB with the moved traces and reinforcement in that area. I want to baby this thing. any advice would be great. thanks.
