How to increase intelligence at 21?

Is it possible? Im willing to do whatever training or lifestyle habits it takes. My friend is skarter than me and always rubs it in my face and it makes me feel so bad. I jeed to increase my intelligence as kuch as humanely possible. If this is not possible then I guess I will sull because life sucks and isnt fair. Thanks!

Am I boned?

Hey guys! Im currently attending UC merced. Right now my gpa is around 2.0. I pursued a computer science major starting junior year, but I didint switch majors at the time like an idiot.

I picked up the compsci classes pretty naturally, but I struggled with math because I was too lazy to put in the extra effort into studying math. Both semesters of my junior year I failed calc 2, this summer I tried my best, but it was a very shortened summer class where I was also working full time, so I failed.

I am really motivated to do better. But my advisor informed me that since I would be graudating in 11 semesters instead of 10, and that even if I perform exceptionally well, It would only be a "maybe" if I could switch majors to C.S. Im wondering if even if I work myself to the bone to get 4.0's all the way (and end up with a 3.5 gpa at the end of senior year according to my math), could I transfer to another uc and enter their C.S program?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I put myself in a real tough spot here. Thank you!

Trying to get a subsequent course repeat approved

Hello! According to my engineering academic advisor, I need to get a course repeat form approved for calc 2 in order to continue my computer science degree. Im actually doing well in my purely computer science classes (C's at first but now an A in discrete math a B's) but the stupid hold up has been calc, due to my terrible study habits, math struggles, and lack of using the stem tutoring hub. I don't know what to do now. First semester I failed because I had bad study habits at first, but then I improved those habits. Then I had a stupid medical emergency in November which screwed me over because I was hospitalized for 3-4 days, and unable to study the week after due to having fevers all the time. This last semester was entirely my fault due to me not studying adequately. Apparently math is in the school of natural science?

If I can't take this class then my computer science career is screwed. I think my life would genuinely be over then ngl because coding is the only thing that interests me. Im already behind because I started pursuing computer science in junior year. What are my chances of succeeding? What should I do? This semester I will do whatever it takes to pass this damn class. Even if it means shutting myself in. Thanks for reading.

Demoralized because smart friend keeps saying he's smarter than me

Hey guys! I have a smart friend who is good at engineering. I do believe he is smarter than me because he picks things up faster than me and is good at engineering and physics. He likes to play engineering games, but oftentimes he will say they are "above my paygrade" and "if me and (other friend) are struggling with that, then YOU will definitely struggle with it"

The thing is, I THINK he means well? Because I told him it bothered me but then he ended up saying that he didn't think I was dumb, and just that I struggle to pick things up quickly but when I do im "really good at applying" myself.

Today during a gaming session he said something like how we need to play a simpler game because a game like stormworks might be "too much" for me. I just went silent because I was hurt. He noticed this and told me to pause the game so he could give me a "heart to heart". He gave the explanation that I'm not stupid, it's just that he has more brainpower than me and if he and (other friend we know but he holds in high regards) struggle with stormworks, then I will too (it was implied that it would be to a higher degree.)

Im really demoralized. This is my week off for my summer job. I dont think I want to play games with him this week, or even this summer for that matter. I just want to chill by myself and code some video games where I wont be hurt. I hope that smart people are wrong in identifying people's intelligence, because if he is right in that he's a lot smarter than me, then that would be very demoralizing. Thank you.

Edit: I just texted him asking him if its possible to become as smart as him. He hasn't responded and i think he's avoiding responding since he's sending me hella instagram reels
