Wife's mother went homeless, we got her to our apartment, but can't get her medical or legal help
Wife's mother needs help
Hello there, my wife's mother has been in a poor state for a long time. In 2021, she lost her son (wife's brother) to unaliving himself, since then, her mind really just broke. She's been out of work since, we have no money, she has no health insurance at all. We finally got her from Nevada to live with us in Central Tennessee. But we really don't have any idea how to help her. We think she has Schizophrenia, severe psychosis, and maybe more things wrong. But she does not want to go to a doctor to get diagnosed because she thinks there is nothing wrong with her. I am in the military, so we are trying to get her under my Tricare so we could at least get her to the hospital on base, but that is a long process. We are also trying to get guardianship of her legally, my wife has an attorney so we can take care of her mom's needs healthwise and housing wise. We just need any help or advice we can get honestly. Please
Please help or share
My wife, Macy has been doing her absolute best to help her mom get the mental health care and support she needs. We barely had enough money to get her to Tennessee, but now we are at am impasse as she has no health insurance and we can't afford to get her any kind of care. Anything helps, we are trying to get her under us for legal guardianship through an attorney and we need any kind of support possible.
Went out for a ride, hit up the Hawaiian food truck, darn good day
Question
So, I'm a 15M in the Army. I know I can get my A&P license through the army and I plan to do it. Get study books and all that, finish my 30 months experience in maintenance. But I only work on a Gray Eagle UAV, which is a small diesel prop plane composite bodied plane really. How would I go about getting more experience in the civilian world? As I want to eventually work for one of the Majors as an A&P mechanic. I want to work on big jets eventually at a major airport. I'm assuming (and hoping) that there are big technical manuals (like on a laptop or such) that detail out maintenance steps, because that is what I work out of. And also after getting out of the army, like what are my next steps to achieving this goal of a decent job on the civilian side
