Didn't think to find a dedicated sub until now - Here's my Solo II Custom. Owned since 2021.
The supposedly overblown Spark Plug Tube Seal issues...
Welp. Needless to say that, no matter what year model you have, it's worth inspecting the car anyways. Mine is from a VIN batch that supposedly was unaffected, and despite many comments across social media that the issue is a nothing burger, all 4 of my seals were bad.
I waited until 60k to change my plugs, and that's how I found out. No leaks outside of the coils, no help from the dealerships despite my repeated mentions of the TSB. I should've pulled the plugs at 30k like I wanted, but I let myself become convinced that it wasn't an issue. Like I said, my valve covers never seemed to have any oil on them, and my car was manufactured after the supposed bad batches were used.
I spent close to 10 hours just scraping and cleaning RTV off the heads so I could replace the valve cover gaskets and the tube seals. So if you don't wanna end up losing your entire weekend to such a task, I suggest strong arming your dealer to replace them ASAP before your warranty period is over. Subaru is so fucking bogus for not putting this problem into recall status instead of a TSB.
