I got handed a PR that's +23,497 / -260 lines of code. Not all lines are my responsibility (I only review frontend), but isn't this an insane count?
Can you "genuinely" code review this amount of code? How can I do it without just clicking approve to move on?
Yesterday I did one of the biggest climbs I usually do on the weekends after work. Decided to "push the limit" and see how fast I could do it, and gauge if it was worth doing it midweek more often.
Basically, climbed 800 meters of elevation over 19.5km. It was around 1 hour and 20 minutes of climbing. The rest was descent. Total moving time was 2 hours. I did it on my Chilcotin 167.
I don't really have friends who like to record stats of moving time, climbing elevation, and the sort. I just want to share this as a big accomplishment and ask you guys what your average ride after work is!
Sup! I bought a new 5700X, and I've been crushing some Cyberpunk 2077. It's paired with an RX 6600, 8GB. I'm playing on high, quality scaling (AMDS 3.0), 15%.
While playing it, I'm getting these weird spikes, and my game keeps running almost frozen: CPU clock goes to 524MHz, GPU usage and power plummets, and CPU usage goes up. This DIDN'T happen with my 5600G last week, and I gamed with almost the same configuration.
If it matters: I'm playing on Ubuntu 24.04. It's very annoying to be playing, and the game just freezes on me. They last a couple of seconds, and they don't really care about what's happening in-game; it's all over the place. Most times I can just keep playing and have long sessions, but I really want to figure out if this could be a malfunction of the CPU, or maybe I'm pushing my config too much?
