Looking for underdog FL

Pretty sure someone must have asked this before. Basically read a lot of stories with of ML and FL being in same domain but ML outshines FL. So for a change I want FL and ML to be in same domain but FL to be better than ML. And not because she is reliving her life or some day magically got her talents due to some trick. I just genuinely want her to be more talented than ML.

Plus points if ML was better than FL initially and FL becomes better than ML after a while and actually gets to display that

Plus points if ML and FL have great personalities and there is no love triangle.

Plus points if FL and ML gets to showcase their talents or develop their talents overtime?

(Uhm I'm not sure if asking in OI was the best idea coz most of them would be reliving or using their other world talents but I'm just hoping otherwise?)

Will try to post it in manga or manhwa if that seems better? (open to suggestions)

I have read a few in this premises but FL mostly be living 100 lives and getting stronger than ML so felt a lil unfair hence

Looking for expressive and chaotic ML

Manga or manhwa with fun or chaotic ML basically. Don't want inexpressive or boring ml who don't take action. I want them to show that they do like the FL and actually care about them

I mean stories like witch hat atelier, apothecary diaries, fragrant flower blooms with dignity, horimiya, love is war, and other complex or a bit more well written romance or female lead manga, I feel like they could have published it as shoujo really.

I know it's probably a marketing strategy but it feels like they are limiting shoujo versatility when it actually feels like it would belong here. Mainly because most men would read seinen or shounen but not josei or shoujo meanwhile women read almost all genre.

It probably shouldn't matter much but it was just bothering me a bit so I put it out here. I normally love shoujo and I was disappointed they did not end up here, we could have had so much more.

If I am lacking more information please do tell me, but it just looked little disappointing to me that as soon as the story got a little more than dramatic romance or damsel in distress stories it got marketed as non shoujo.

Like I know people read everything nowadays regardless of demographics, but it's like screaming young girls aren't a fit demographics for complex thoughts.

In short I'm just disappointed

Edit: I have made a mistake, I MEANT SKIP AND LOAFER NOT FRAGRANT FLOWER THINGY, I mixed it up coz I was just commenting on something related to both of them ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

Regardless of the publishing, and no I AM NOT LOOKING DOWN ON ALREADY EXISTING GREAT SHOUJO MANGA, like I already told I love shoujo but I feel nowadays the topics appealing to younger females have changed from what it was generations ago, so it should reflect on the topics used for current generation shoujo.

Also I'm not saying shoujo doesn't have complex characters (kanoko sama from koi dano/warao kanoko sama, skip beat, etc DO have similar complex characters to the manga I have mentioned above)

I'm figuring out how to attach images so I could put in some search results after searching online because of my confusion, I'll add it to another edit or comment as soon as I figure out how to do that.

I know this post is pissing off a lot of hardcore shoujo lovers but I just wanted to put it out, many shoujos do have the damsel in distress part where the male counterparts come to save them, not all but MANY shoujo exist and it's not a bad thing but it projects something when it's used that often.

Leave aside the factor that love of war or horimiya have complex characters or not debatable, let's just agree it's different from typical shoujo, a different type of depiction of women in general (it is debatable still yes) but try to get my over-all point regardless of the specific manga I mentioned that you may not agree about, or have y'all never felt what I meant at any point? Maybe I am wrong in some parts where the appeal maybe to some josei readers than shoujo for some of the manga I mentioned

If the shoujo marketing was done better wouldn't many different types of manga have ended up under shoujo? Is my point

I still haven't found the how to add images so if anyone can help me out here
