48hrs post op!! was able to shower today and remove my gauzes.

still can’t believe that these are my new tatas! i could never see my belly before and now i finally can and it feels so weird. i’m super swollen but love my results.

1st day post op was pretty rough with getting out of bed. i’m getting a lot of zaps which feels weird. i can feel my left nipple sensation but not yet in my right. i’m taking my medicine as needed and it’s been helping a lot.

i took a warm shower today and it felt so good to have that water hit my body ( had my back facing the water and let it fall towards my chest lightly) i was a little nervous but it went well.

i can’t stop staring in the mirror 😭i can’t believe that this is me! it doesn’t feel real. i never thought that id ever see myself with small boobs but here i am 🥹🥹

i asked for a B cup! i was a DDD-G before but never really had a bra that actually fit me.

had my surgery yesterday. here’s how it went & some before/after plus product recommendations.

23f, have a 2 year old child. live in massachusetts and got my boobs done at Mass General Brigham by Doctor Erin Taylor. I had my first initial appointment in January, got approved in February and had my first pre op in March ( i think 😬 ) and was scheduled for May 20th! I didn’t feel a nervous bone in my body whatsoever. I was so excited for this surgery that I didn’t think negatively about it at all even though some people tried to instill fear in me, It didn’t work haha! I was so happy and calm the whole time and only almost cried from tears of joy.

so let me start by saying that the hospital and doctor i went too.. AMAZING TEAM!! staff was so great. I didn’t feel nervous or uncomfortable at anytime. they are super informative and so kind. i would say it was annoying how informative they were cause dang im only one person and can’t remember all this info 🤣🤣. if i had any questions, they were so quick to respond or would even book me a appointment so they can sit down and answer them. they were absolutely amazing. 10/10.

night before surgery, i stopped eating around 10pm! didn’t have any food or water until after surgery but they did give me water in a tiny cup when taking Tylenol and Pepcid at the hospital.

when it came down to the day of my surgery the prepping went smooth. i checked in at 7:30am and they brought me back in less than 5 minutes. I went to the room you go too before going in and got changed ( they gave me a bag for my belongings ). they took my blood pressure, asked me some questions on medical history and put it my IV which was so easy and didn’t hurt. i hate needles even though I have a arm full of tats lol! i met my whole surgical team from the PA to the anesthesiologist to literally almost anyone who was going to help assist with my surgery which was nice!

going into surgery was my favorite part!! they wheeled me in and i said a prayer. before i went down to sleep i asked the team that was helping me and would be in the room if we could all pray together and they all agreed and prayed with me🥹🥹. then they kindly told me they were going to put me to sleep now which i appreciate instead of the old trick in the game where they talk to you and as you’re speaking you get knocked out lol.

i went in for surgery around 9:45am ish and was out around 2pm?!when they took me out and had to wake me up for anesthesia they called my mom to let her know that things went well but i was having a hard time waking up. ( haha that was best sleep i ever had ). it took about an hour or 2 for me to wake up and i was heading home around 4pm. the first things that happened when waking up were the nurses asking me questions and asking me how i felt. i was in and out so i couldn’t answer them but as soon as she asked me if i wanted some graham crackers and ginger ale i woke up immediately and said “ yes give me my 5 star meal please “ 🤣. they were so kind and sweet and so patient with me! they went over all post op instructions and assisted me in leaving, i got wheel chaired out.

all in all, im super happy with Dr Taylor and her team. Im so happy of my results even though I am still super swollen! Im happy I went with Mass General Brigham! 🙏🏽

Car mastectomy pillow.

Pregnancy body pillow.

Button up shirts!!!!!!!!!

Stool softeners

Body washing wipes that is water activated since you can’t shower for 48hrs after surgery.

I got super curious and wanted to see what they girls look like and let me say… BODY TEAAAAA 🤪. i used to be so self conscious bc of my boobs and would hate wearing anything tight or even working out freely.

cursing as a Christian?

i’m talking to an guy who curses and uses really bold terms when referring to things. for example i told him about a crazy ex situation i had and he boldly said “ damn you must have some good pu**y “ and whenever he calls me “ fine sh** “ 😭😭 are these red flags if a man can’t communicate without cursing? he says he’s a believer but only goes to church when he has a Sunday off. should i cut him off?

losing a lot of hope during my singleness season

i 23F have been single for about 2 years now. i’ve talked to people during this time but have not been in a real commitment relationship. im trying dating apps, im putting myself out there in person but it looks like it’s not working or im attracting the wrong people. i’ve been abstinent for 1 year and 5 months now, just honoring the Lord in everything I do for the most part.

today i was conversating with my guy friends and it made me realize that this single thing may be harder than I thought. this has been a never ending prayer between me and God, i keep telling him to prepare me for my husband and allow me to wait on him to come but how long will I have to keep waiting?!?! 😭😭 im so frustrated.

my surgery is coming up and i’m so excited and have thousands of questions for you girlies that already did your surgery.

how much weight did you lose after? i unfortunately can’t do certain workouts like id want too bc of the girls & feel like once i get them done i’ll lose a few pounds.

i will mention that i do have back rolls but when i hold my breast up in the mirror to see how id look with them done, they go away and im also getting a lift so i wonder if my back rolls would go away after that 🤔🤔

how do i know what that even means? i want to go the smallest i can be.. i’ve seen many girls with my body type which is a slim thick body type that have small boobs A & B and they look great. I’m currently a F of G size ( honestly not too sure bc no bras fit me properly ) 🥲

please read the screenshot first, this was before i knew he was in a relationship. obviously now im no longer interested but still think he’s attractive. i guess word spread that i thought he was cute and his cousin told me things may not work out between them. i’ve never seen him with her and don’t know much about the relationship and didn’t care to ask but has anyone ever been with someone who when you first met them they were in a relationship and you so happened to get together after? i feel like that would be weird especially knowing that he had a girlfriend.

we had another group hangout last night and i found out his age and occupation through conversation. he also sat right next to me again.

I need honest opinions 😭

There’s a guy at my church I think is really cute. We ended up sitting near each other in a group restaurant setting, and we didn’t really have a full one-on-one conversation… but there were a few moments.

I caught him looking at me a few times (like actually staring for a bit to the point the mutual friend we had had to look back to see what he was looking at), and when I noticed I looked over and gave him a slight smile. He didn’t seem weird about it or anything.

We did interact a little during group conversations too, but it kept getting interrupted since there were other people around, so nothing really flowed.

Now I’m overthinking everything because we didn’t exchange numbers or really talk😭

Do you think that means anything or am I reading too much into it? And if there is something there… should I just wait for another in-person moment or actually try to say something next time?

I do want to add that i asked my church Deacon his name and told him that i was only asking “ for a friend “ but didn’t make it known that i was attracted to him.
