bro are these ppl okay?

apparently single women can’t get sick or have something come up? but we’re supposed to give moms grace when they cancel cause they have kids lmfao

context: she’s saying it’s disrespectful if people cancel on her because she has to get shit together, make sure her kids are taken care of, get ready, in order for her to hang out! the mom entitlement is crazy like you chose to have kids

Did anyone else freaking CRY after watching Brand New Day, or is it just me??

I watched it last night and I swear it didn’t fully hit me until afterward. I’ve been processing it all day and have been SO emotional. I don’t even know what it is, but something about Peter’s story just hit something in me or i’m just too empathetic.

Like this man lost Iron Man, lost Aunt May, lost MJ aka his love and his best friend, and then had to live for YEARS in a world where literally no one even knew who Peter Parker was. He’s basically going through this huge identity crisis, trying to figure out who he is while dealing with so much change and grief, and he has NO ONE to talk to about any of it and it’s prob all traumatic too! The loneliness of it all genuinely makes me so sad for him. 😭 I think maybe it hit me extra hard because I’ve been feeling lonely too, so watching him go through all of that just ignited something in me that I wasn’t expecting.

AND TO ALL THE BOLLYWOOD LOVERS: PLEASE STOP MAKING SPIDER-MAN EDITS TO BOLLYWOOD SONGS BECAUSE WHY DOES IT MAKE EVERYTHING 1000x MORE EMOTIONAL??? 😭😭

Anyway, I loved the movie. It was SO good, apparently emotionally destroyed me, and now I already want to watch it again. 😂 Was it emotional for anyone else?

Brides - what time did you ask to be ready by? I think I messed up

I booked a sister duo for my bridal hair and makeup from 11:30 AM–4:00 PM because I told them my “get ready” time, including hair, makeup, jewelry, and everything, was 4:00 PM. My cocktail hour starts at 5:00 PM and the reception officially starts at 6:00 PM. I am guessing my entrance will be around 6:15/6:30ish. I am still early in the process of wedding planning.

Do you think this gives me enough time to do a first look and get some couple portraits with my husband before cocktail hour/reception? Now I’m worried that I should have given them a 2:30 or 3:00 PM ready time just to have more of a buffer. I already sent my deposits, so I’m a little stressed that I may have scheduled everything too late :(

Where the heck can I get affordable pakistani bridal mehndi outfits?

I am looking for a mehndi dress for my wedding and love Farah Talib Aziz designs, but getting quoted like $3-3.5K on mehndi outfits. Anyone have any good boutiques or designers that sell something similar to FTA and affordable or do I have to keep my budget around that price. I am in the bay area and am open to buying online and going somewhere in person.

Am I going to be rescinded form Berkeley Haas?

I am asking for my sister as she doesn’t have a reddit. She got into Berkeley Haas and maintained a high gpa all semesters up until spring semester, where she got a 2.88 semester GPA, which is lower than the 3.0 requirement but passes all classes. **Per the rule: I agree to complete all UC-transferable courses in the Winter and/or Spring 2026 terms with a 3.0 or higher GPA and no grade lower than a C-.**

When she sent her transcript to UCB, her English class final grade was a B but when she checked 2-3 weeks later, the final grade was a C. This made her gpa become a 2.88. She has a medical thing where she has low ANA and deals with flare up, which really impacts her day to day life but she pushed through to really get into Berkeley. What are her chances of being rescinded? Can she do control damage and appeal before they receive the transcript?

Marquise Solitaire Owners: Do You Regret Going with Pave or Plain?

I’m finalizing my engagement ring and keep going back and forth between a pave band and a plain gold band. The ring will be a 2.8–3.2 ct marquise solitaire- I’ve have two photos that I’ve been using for comparison. The first photo is a 2.5ish ct (I think) marquise with a plain band and the second photo is a 3.04 ct with a pave band. I’m hoping for feedback on both the band style and overall look on my hand. Which style do you think looks more flattering on my finger and why?

For those who have a marquise, which did you choose and why? If you have a pave or plain band, is there anything you wish you had known beforehand? I’d also love to hear how your choice has held up over time and whether you’d make the same decision again. Thanks!

▲ 60 r/Nails

Is it just me or are my nails straight up bad?

I hate my nails they’re uneven and bulky to me and I paid $100 with tip, i’ve never had a bad nail experience till now. I went to a nail salon and got a random lady (my nail lady was unavailable), and she was doing my mani and pedi service. When she was doing my pedi, I let her know clearly I wanted to do square for both my mani and pedi. While she was doing my pedicure I asked her to cut them a little shorter and she seemed annoyed for some reason and said she will do it. She started on my manicure and said that I have a lot of cuticle skin, so I asked for advice on if there’s anything I can do to prevent that much cuticle skin from happened lol. She basically just continued with the manicure and ignored my question. My bf was sitting next to me and he heard me ask that question, so it shouldn’t have been hard for her to hear because she was right infront of me. So she started on filing my nails and I noticed they were becoming squoval or square with rounded edges and I asked her if she can just make them more straight from the tips. She didn’t say anything and continued filing and I for some reason thought she was fixing them, BUT SHE DID NOT. I should have said something again but I already felt like she was annoyed with me for asking stuff, and her vibe was not welcoming. It felt like she just wanted to get it over with and would just throw my hand down when she was done. Are my nails actually bad? Should I ask for a refund? I

TLDR: Went to a nail salon and had a bad experience, nails turned out uneven and bulky, are they bad and should I go back for a refund?

Stanford Stadium - What time to arrive?

Going to see BTS today at Stanford Stadium and I’m so excited!! Doors open at 4:30 PM and my friends and I are trying to figure out what time we should get to the stadium to make sure we get through security and into our seats on time before the show starts. We live in Fremont and are gonna take Caltrain from Mountain View to Palo Alto and then walk to the stadium. We know traffic and trains are probably going to be busy today, so any advice on what time to arrive at the stadium would be great. Thank you and have fun to everyone attending today!!
