Jumping up wave while wakesurfing

I’m starting to get more into trying to do tricks, but for a lot of them I need to be able to pop up the wave to get some air, such as for a 180 Shuv. I can do a decent Ollie in the flats, but haven’t ever gotten air while going up the wave. Should I try and adjust the wave till it feels better or whats the technique to jump up better?

Wakeskating vs Wakeboarding Safety

I‘ve (18M) been looking at getting into either wakeboarding or wakeskating. I’m kind of concerned about the number of knee injuries that come with the sports though. I‘ve wakesurfed (Yes I know this subreddit hates wake surfing) for 5 years now, so have a boat for it, along with a wake skate currently.

Theres also someone putting together some kind of wake team near me, which I’d be interested in. Now for the injuries part, from the research ive done it looks like almost a third of consistent wake boarders have to have some kind of surgery on their ACL at some point, and I’d prefer not to permanently destroy my knees. Since wakeskating is a lot less popular, it’s hard to tell how much safer it is. What’s the big differences safety wise, and if I get into it is there a large chance I’ll get injuries?

Diluting Cross Contamination?

Hi there. Celiac of 10+ years here (no glutening in 3+ years). I was getting ice cream from a local shop, and got them to get a new bin, scoop, gloves, the works. However, when I ate it, I noticed a tiny little shred of cone in my bowl. I don’t think I ate any, but if I were to consume a very small amount of gluten through something like cross contamination, would trying to dilute it with food/water actually help? I know the GF standard is >20ppm, so would getting closer to that number inside my stomach help?

Help finding a hairstyle and cut

(Face blotted out for privacy)

Hello Reddit. So I’ve been struggling to find a good haircut or style that I like, and I think a good part of it is because of how my hair acts. Firstly, some info: right now it’s about 3-4in long. It’s mostly straight when shorter, but starts to curl a bit at the ends when it gets to this length. The main issue with styling it is that it’s very dense. I seem to have a considerable amount more hair per square inch that the average person, which makes it want to lay down upon itself, which makes many hairstyles hard to achieve. I haven’t been using any products, but that’s just because I’m not sure what to use beyond shampoo and conditioner.

Does anyone have any advice for a good haircut or style that’s not simply cutting it short? I’d like to try some different styles out, so any thoughts would be appreciated. ❤️
