This is r/literallythetruth! We’re not a new subreddit, but the community has been under new leadership for a little while now. As longtime users and fans of r/truths, we obviously couldn’t resist this joke.

For anyone curious, the link at the bottom shows what r/literallythetruth looked like before the recent changes.

Now we’re working on giving the subreddit a fresh identity of its own—and we want help shaping it.

We’re looking for ideas for a new community icon and banner. Drop your concepts or ideas in the comments We’ll genuinely consider every submission.

Community icon: 256 × 256 px — square, preferably PNG or JPG.

Community banner: 1920 × 384 px — 5:1 ratio. Keep important elements toward the center since Reddit crops banners differently depending on the device. (Though we’d prefer a design without text.)

Help us give the subreddit a look worthy of being literally the truth!

When the current mod team took over r/literallythetruth, this was the community’s existing icon and banner. Since this style is used across a ton of subreddits, we think it’s time to give r/literallythetruth a more unique identity of its own.

We’ll be switching to a temporary design while we work on something permanent, and we’d love for the community to help us come up with it.

If you have ideas for a new community icon or banner, drop them below! Concepts, rough ideas, finished designs, memes—whatever you’ve got. We’ll seriously consider every suggestion.
