Not only are you not getting what you want/need, you have the added guilt of knowing you are the reason your partner is not getting what they need. How I got here is complicated. But I just cannot see my way out of getting back to wanting to be physical with him. I know I need to just honor that and work on not feeling that guilt. It took two people to get to this place. Do my LL4U people have guilt too? I was listening to Exile by TS/Bon Iver and it just said it all. (No, I’m not a Swiftie 😉)

I could really use some insight as to what my husband might be feeling. For those of you married or in a relationship, did you resent your spouse/partner for making you realize your drinking was a problem? My husband has significantly cut back on how much he drinks, but I still wonder if he even sees his drinking was a problem. I can’t help but feel like he resents me for making it a “thing”. He also doesn’t seem to see any positives of drinking less in terms of health or being more present for his family. I also feel as though he doesn’t enjoy things as much now, like he is bored with life. I could ask him these questions myself but he will tell me what I what to hear vs what he truly feels.
