Do you still get PMDD on birth control?

I’m just finishing up my third month of nextrellis. I was prescribed it for peri/heavy periods/moods. But I was thinking it was supposed to regulate your hormones all month, therefore technically no luteal and no PMDD. But I’m having a really rough few days before I start the white pills. I’m in my late forties and never took BC due to fertility issues, so this is all new to me!

For those that use tret cream what is a good, moisturizing face wash that’s budget friendly?

It’s so hard to find good, moisturizing face wash that doesn’t have all the acids in it! I’m currently visiting a very dry climate (I live in a very humid climate) and my face is freaking out!

Has anyone done ketamine treatment (or Spravato)? Has it helped PMDD?

I’ve been doing Spravato for a few months to help with medication resistant depression. I’ve definitely seen an improvement! I then started Nextrellis BC two months ago to help with very heavy periods and to help with peri symptoms. I just took my last pink pill last night (so just finishing up my second packet) and yesterday and today I’ve had extreme depression!! It’s hard, because my overall depression/moods have been so much better, this blindsided me! But it’s never about feeling so crappy, it’s about how it affects those around me! My two kids and my husband. I missed my son’s first ever football game! It’s the spiraling shame that accompanies these severe mood/personality shifts. But back to my initial question, has anyone done Spravato treatments and has it helped with PMDD? I’ve dialed back on my appointments since I’ve had improvement, but I’m wondering if it would be worth it to go during my so called “luteal”time.

Long time DFW residents: has the weather forecast always been this inaccurate?

I’ve lived all over and in other countries, and I’ve always been able to believe the forecast and plan accordingly. I was hoping for some mother’s day gardening this morning! When I woke up it said good weather until the evening, then rain. Then some freak storm blew in!! I’ve only been here two years and it is so frustrating!

My ascent is being repaired and I got an outback in the meantime. The owners manual is still wrapped in plastic, so I didn’t want to open it, and hoping one of you could please tell me.

I don’t own any cast iron despite cooking for a few decades! Would this be a good start?
