How would you describe your experience of being mentored and the training you received?

Im genuinely curious about mentoring and the quality of mentoring and training in the civil service in various departments and roles

For my own insight I guess.

Did anyone have to learn their job literally by themselves or feel alone with it.

Id like to think we can be open and honest on here on the general consensus and people's experiences

Managed moves. Enquiry

As the title says- can the civil service try and find someone a completely different role in the organisation if the employees current role may not be right fit for them?

Are managed moves utilised more for people with physical difficulties and disabilities.

To what extent would the civil service try to help an employee who had been in the service lets say 3 months short of a year.

I guess the bigger question is would they care?

If this causes any offence please know that I do not intend any offence at all. It is a genuine post. Thanks

Games/apps or surveys that let you cash out to UK bank account

Hello

I am naturally cautious when it comes to this kind of thing regarding making free money

Most only let you cash out to PayPal which I dont have

If you give bank account details I then worry about fraud.

Has anyone else made zero friends at work?

Ive been at this job for just over a year. Within the first month or two i had some bitchy woman run tittle tattling to a team leader about me because I made a comment on a document she was putting together where it sounded like she was creating it for all of us for training. She just acted really shitty and weird. I reckon she did it to feel powerful.

Ive had patronising comments from another woman, icy stares, then I see people talking around me but not including me and people swanning off together for lunch. I sit and sometimes eat lunch with this one girl because I took it upon myself to start talking to other people but im finding it quite sad and draining that people can be selfish and all me me me as long as im alright.

What is it with these people? It feels really draining at times to see these quite frankly pathetic cliques and people that actively dont talk to others as though its deliberate.

When did you first notice first symptoms of possible endometriosis?

I have had very heavy periods for a long time. They seem to be quite short in duration literally lasting up to 4 days but the bleeding is very heavy to the point of sticking 2 pads together and putting in my pants to absorb. I then seem to get painful twangs in my tummy even when the period has finished. Im getting very painful twinges now and my period finished a week ago.

Is this endometriosis? What do you guys think?

I eat plenty of veg and salad and I try to look after my bowels and eating habits.

I am 39. Thankyou for reading.
