I beg for a Halo with these visuals

The Halo Infinite teaser trailer and concept art in the art book really nail my ideal Halo aesthetic. The game we got is pretty, but still not at the same level.

Campaign Evolved is pretty as well. I’m not a huge fan of the overly designed forerunner stuff, and I prefer a more clean art style over the very detailed environments.

“Return to Battlefield” and enemy AI

I’m sorry but why would you have a game with skulls but have kill barriers that kill all exploration. I’m currently on the second bonus mission trying to climb trees and grenade jump but keep getting threatened by the “Return to Battlefield” kill barriers. Let me explore like I was able to in Halo 2 or other Halo games.

Also why are brutes so non responsive to bullets? They just stand there unless you hit them in the glowing chest piece. I remember in Infinite when you shot a brute you would see chips of armor fall off or brutes getting staggered when shooting them in the foot.

Forza Horizon 6 is amazing but…

This is easily my favorite Forza horizon game so far, but I can’t stress how disappointing these story missions are.

They feel more like a grind than fun in my opinion.

Drift club: this is awesome if you are a fan of drifting so admittedly I might be a minority on this. I just never found the drifting mechanics to be fun and I’m just awful at it, so could be skill issue.

Tokyo Food delivery: literally delivery food slowly throughout Tokyo is just not fun, repetitive.

Tokyo city day trip, these are okay because of how amazing the setting it, I wish it felt more like a tour and explored the temples or circuits. Maybe the more hidden areas. Why not a make it a grand adventure like something from Horizon 5. Instead it just feels like a chopped up version of Yuji’s auto.

Yuji’s auto: man these are awful. It’s literally drive to destination, drive to another destination without damaging car, then do it again. So much loading and transitions. Felt like such a slog.

Moto auto zine: these are okay so far (haven’t finished yet) but it gets me to engage with the games camera, I feel there could be a better way of doing this like find Easter eggs around the world or photograph your cars in very specific angles for more points. But it’s just race to destination, snap a photo of provided setting.

As a huge fan of old sega arcade racers I wish there was more inspired from those games, as well as other classic Japanese car media. But instead I’m relying on livery designs to do it myself.
