If you're in 3rd year BA at main campus, take ur marksheets for 1st and 2nd from FCI building

If you don't hv your abc id mentioned in your results, you'll hv to follow a cumbersome procedure, dm if u wanna know

1. Must mention your ABC id wherever it's asked

2. Must keep your admit cards and enrollment slips, fee receipts of every year safe with you (you'll need them to get marksheet of every year)

3. If you don't mention your abc id and if it's not visible on ur result of any year then you'll have to do many procedures

• keep posting on LinkedIn that you're looking for a job constantly, one #cfbr of someone might get you one :)

• ensure that you've a basic LinkedIn profile

• Try to be active on LinkedIn as much as possible, search like this:

- go to search bar

- type "psychologist hiring"

- select "posts"

- select "past 24 hours/past week"

you'll get to see legit job openings

• Follow people who regularly post job vacancies:

I've attended many webinars & workshops, these are my takeaways:

🔰Please keep engaging as soon as even 1 person has joined in, keep talking to them about general things, their interests, don't chat, try to talk with your camera on

🎈 Keep adding humor, that will your audience engaged till the last, it will create a good impression about you, no one likes a serious webinar (even if it's a free one), MARKET YOURSELF

🍰 Avoid SLIDES, make short notes instead, look down for a second, speak. Even if you're comfortable with slides, please make them look engaging, add memes/GIFs (idk if this can be added 😅) keep writing something so that the audience is attentive, engaged

🌟 Keep your slides clean, short points should be written, flowcharts should be there, use loom maybe for this. NO ONE LIKES BIG PARAGRAPHS BEING WRITTEN ON SLIDES in a webinar, they expect it to be very engaging

🧠 Don't give only general info in a webinar which can be read online easily. Read newsletters, research papers, articles, try to pick up latest trends and then deliver the info. [YOU CAN CHARGE IF YOU GIVE GOOD CONTENT, IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE FREE]

2025: difficulty level too high

2026: RE-EXAM

-psychology is a good path if you're considering to leave medical field. But:

-you'll have to figure out your own path, you'll have to do EXTRAAA, only completing a degree in psychology doesn't pay much, it's a reality.

-what does EXTRAA mean?👇

-doing good networking (offline+online) ~ find networking groups on my Reddit profile

-understanding the field through social media: LINKEDIN, INSTAGRAM, REDDIT

-not jumping into counseling just because it's easy (IT'S NOT AT ALL EASY :) ~ see the pros+cons

-qualifying NET with no clear goal (asst prof vacancies are less, I'm not saying that don't pursue it)

-don't run behind internships in bachelors, first know (dw, you'll figure out along your way, just have a basic direction) what you wanna pursue further in this field.

-PLEASE research on your own IN YOUR BACHELORS:

what do you like in this field?

which are the possible sub fields you can pursue in psychology?

-There are various sub fields not explored much or are needed (JOBS WILL DEPEND UPON YOUR DEMOGRAPHY) : special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, school counselors

-I'm thinking of teaching+having basic knowledge of counseling: they might prefer my resume, not sure though. Because teaching is something which fascinates me a lot, teaching maths to school students. Think of your other interests blending with psychology.

P. S. : I gave neet 2023, didn't clear, prepared for 2024, registered myself for the examination, didn't appear because of a very special reason; I'm a second year psychology undergrad at University of Allahabad.
