My Rehab Baby Flew Off!

I'm so happy my baby flew off! But it's so bittersweet. They flew off last week and came back at night. I let them back inside and obviously gave them chances to fly off again the next few days. They flew away again and came back almost immediately. Then I tried to escort them to the safest pond with all the other ducks - we got so close to the pond and then they flew the other way (back to where they had been exploring). Well, after this last time of flying, they haven't come back. I'm sure they're just living their best life out there, but I would love to see them again to see they're okay.

Muscovy duckling I've been hanging out with was injured, but trusted me enough that he's home with me to recover (and I'll find him a home)

Help with Irish Renaissance (16th century)

I'm wanting to make a (mostly) historically accurate Irish outfit from the 1500s. I've found lots of information (well, as much as we have) on the leine and the overdresses, but there seems to also be an underskirt between the leine and the overdress. In the illustrations, it looks somewhat narrow.

Could anyone point me in the right direction of how this garment was made? Rectangles? Trapezoids? About how many yards were used? And how did this garment fasten?

Also, if I'm just completely misunderstanding Irish fashion at the time, let me know!

Little dude struck at me twice... Because I almost stepped on him. Fair enough!

Little copperhead was in a walking path and thankfully I was watching where I was going. But even then, I barely saw him in time!
