Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has been getting attention for how heavily it relied on real locations and practical filmmaking instead of creating everything digitally.

And honestly, I think you can sometimes feel the difference when actors are actually standing in a real environment rather than acting in front of a green screen.

But CGI can obviously create things that would be impossible to film practically.

So what do you prefer?

Not necessarily the actor — the character/performance that you think deserved to be recognized but somehow got overlooked.

For me, Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street.

Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for Best Actor for the role, but Matthew McConaughey won that year for Dallas Buyers Club.

That performance was absolutely wild. 😂

Who would you pick?

Like, you’re completely alone, scrolling through Netflix, and suddenly you’re watching Toy Story, Shrek, The Lion King or some other childhood favorite.

I’m convinced animated movies aren’t just for kids. 😂

What animated movie do you secretly still love watching?

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has sparked a lot of discussion about how much a modern movie adaptation should change the original epic.

One interesting point: Himesh Patel, who plays Eurylochus, has talked about the backlash surrounding his casting and defended the idea of bringing different perspectives to an ancient story.

That raises a bigger question:

When adapting a story that is thousands of years old, should filmmakers stay as faithful to the original as possible — or should they be free to reinvent it for a modern audience?

Which do you prefer: faithful adaptation or creative reinterpretation?

Sometimes I forget how different his performances can be. The Departed, Inception, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Revenant — he doesn't really have one fixed screen persona.

I think that's one reason people still get excited whenever he's in a new movie.

Which DiCaprio performance is your favorite?

Sometimes I wonder why big names like Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Jim Carrey, and Harrison Ford have had such incredible careers, yet their Oscar records don't always seem to match their popularity or influence.

It got me wondering: does winning an Oscar really reflect how great an actor is? Or does it depend more on the roles they choose, the competition that year, campaigning, and what the Academy tends to favor?

Who do you think is the most overdue actor or actress for an Oscar?

I always find it funny how we all have little habits that would probably look ridiculous to someone else.

Talking to yourself, having full conversations with your pet, dancing while cooking, checking the fridge even though you know there’s nothing new in it… 😂

What’s your “I only do this when I’m alone” habit?

I’ve always found it interesting how differently people feel about the same time of day.

I’m definitely more of a night person. Everything feels quieter, I can relax, watch something, listen to music, or just scroll without feeling rushed. 😂

What about you — morning person or night owl?

For me, it’s Stuart Little (2000). 😂 I’ve probably watched it way more times than I can count, and somehow it still feels just as comforting every time.

There’s something about those childhood movies that hits differently when you grow up.

What’s your comfort movie that you could watch endlessly?

Mine is just staying in, watching movies, and enjoying a hot cup of tea. ☕🎬
