Looking for Wingspan-sized sleeves with a Dragon Shield Matte feel

Hi,

I currently have all my Wingspan cards sleeved in standard-size Dragon Shield Ivory Matte sleeves. They're obviously way too wide for the cards, but I really like how thick and sturdy they are, and especially the texturedish-grainy back that gives them a TCG feeling when handling and shuffling.

I also use Dragon Shield Clear Matte on another game and really like those too.

Is there anything available in a proper Wingspan/American card size (around 57x87 mm) that feels similar? Ideally clear, fairly thick, and with that same kind of textured matte back.

I'm mainly looking for the closest possible feel to Dragon Shield Matte, just in a better fitting size.

Thanks!

Needing help for a 3k€ build (gaming and IA work uses)

Hi,

I’m replacing my 2018 PC: i7-8086K, GTX 1080 and 16GB RAM.

My budget is around €3,000 including VAT in France, ideally including assembly. I want to play modern AAA games at 4K, ultra settings and high FPS, with as few compromises as possible.

I also use ChatGPT Codex heavily for work, often with several local tools and processes running, and my current 16GB regularly gets saturated. That’s why I’m considering 64GB.

I used AI to put together this first draft:

- Ryzen 7 9800X3D

- RTX 5080 16GB

- B850 motherboard

- 64GB DDR5-6000 CL30

- 2TB NVMe SSD

- 8TB HDD for storage

- 850W or 1000W ATX 3.1 PSU

- Good air cooler and airflow case

Does this look balanced for the budget? Would you keep 64GB, or buy 32GB and spend the difference elsewhere? Any obvious issue or better-value choice?

If money and travel were no object, where and when should I go to eat the best pear in the world?

I know “best” is subjective, but, out of curiosity, I’m trying to approach this as seriously as possible.

Assume I’m willing to travel anywhere, pay whatever it costs, and plan around the right season. My goal is not to buy the most expensive pear as a luxury gimmick, but to maximize the chance of eating an exceptional pear at absolute peak ripeness.

From what I understand, the key variables are probably:

- variety;

- growing region / terroir;

- harvest timing;

- post-harvest ripening;

- being eaten in the very narrow window where texture, aroma and sweetness are at their best.

Candidates I’ve seen mentioned include Doyenné du Comice, Yamagata La France, and Le Lectier from Niigata, but I’d love to hear from people who really know fruit.

If you had to design the ultimate “best pear in the world” tasting trip, what would you do?

Which variety would you target, where would you go, what month would you go, and how would you make sure the pear is actually eaten at the perfect stage?
