I was in Curry’s Mahon Point last weekend. One thing that struck me was that nearly every member of staff was Indian (I imagine Indian students). In my workplace now a good chunk of new staff are Indian/Indian students. I’ve noticed petrol stations and retail stores have a predominantly Indian workforce in recent months.

Just from an anecdotal point of view for those on this subreddit, have you noticed this change in the past three years at least? I have to preface this by saying this post isn’t anti immigration in any way, shape or form. I’m just enquiring why so many Indian staff in retail now, it must have a knock on effect on college students or teenagers looking for part-time during the summer or through school and college.

Does anybody know if Dennehys Cross car park is still open today even when most students aren’t in UCC for the summer? Thanks!

Was driving home and a signal came up on the dashboard that said “anti pollution faulty” with an orange engine light. I noticed the car was slightly stuttering and sometimes struggled to reach 100kmh and maybe got up to as far as 90kmh instead

Bit worries, let me know what needs to be done. I’m due for a full car service soon soon so I wonder if this is the reason?
