Brown Water Coming Out Of Tap Today In Old Laurel
Got brown water today. Was there a water main break around old town Laurel? Filled water jug and it's definitely not clear. Did I miss a health warning?

Current Wait Times At IRS Main Number to Speak to a Human
After literal weeks of trying to speak to an IRS agent between the hours of 2:30p EDT and 4:30p EDT, I finally hit the magic, random sequence of yelling "operator!" into the phone, hand-jamming 0, and various "something else" mappings on the keypad, yesterday. I got in just after 3p EDT, so I thought I had a shot at being able to wait long enough (<== subtle revelation of massively reduced expectation of service) to actually speak to someone about my issue. The recording warned me the wait time could be as long as 45 minute to an hour, but please don't hang up. Easy-peasey, I said to myself. At exactly 2 hours, 6 minutes and 11 seconds, the IRS hung up the other end without ever answering the phone.
TL;DR: current wait time to speak to a human at IRS main number: infinity.

To be sure, strong, agentic AI is bringing change for everyone. But I think the initial impacts will be felt by CS types the hardest.
Given the above interview with Boris Cherny, who makes a strong case for: "there is no such thing as a coder in 2 years", what is your plan? What is the university's plan to address offering a curriculum no one will care about in 2 years? What changes should the department make?
