I’m doing my own bridal makeup and I’ve been using the same blush for years - tarte Amazonian clay blush in blissful. But when I say years, I mean roughly 15 years, and I still have the same one (I know it’s time to retire it). So I need to expand my horizons a little. I’m looking for a cream and powder combo I think, something soft and natural.
I thought I’d just post for anyone else that was just ~mildly worried about their baby showing no interest with rolling. I had the whole ‘it’ll happen in its own time’ mindset but the worry crept in at 7 months with only rolling once so could have been a fluke. He also haaaated tummy time so I couldn’t even get him to practice.
Well, he’s 7.5 months now and in the last two days had rolled front to back and back to front both ways! Seems he was just waiting until he could do it all at once 😅
If you did your own wedding makeup, what are your biggest tips?
I am thinking I’m probably going to do my own, I’m getting married at 5pm so I’ve got a long time to do it, and it doesn’t need to last 12 hours. Any hints, tips or advice would be massively appreciated! I love the girl in the photos makeup, I think I just need to find what shades would complement me. I’m not aiming for anything too complicated I don’t think.
I was tempted to get a makeup lesson with an artist to learn some techniques, has anyone tried that?
I’ve been strictly adhering to a schedule for the last few weeks and it has brought me scheduled sadness.
So today I have thrown caution to the wind and gone fine, have whatever sleep you want. He hasn’t had over 2.5hrs of naps for weeks, today - 3hrs and 10 minutes. Am I going to regret it later? Probably. Did sad, first period in over 15 months, can’t even binge on chocolate because baby is cmpa, me, absolutely adore the 1hr 40 contact nap she just had? You BETCHA.
Edited for an update: the night was no worse than how the rest of the nights have been! I was expecting a split night or an early wake up but nope! He only managed 2hrs 15 initial stint but that’s been normal for him for the last few days, then up every 1.5-2hrs. So, worth it in my opinion 😌
