How to keep cream blush sticks clean?

One reason I prefer powder over cream blush is because I have no idea how to keep cream blush sanitized. Especially stick ones like Clinique Chubby Stick that you apply directly to your face! Do you have tips for keeping them clean? Do you wipe or spray them after each use? What kind of products do you use for cleaning?

Wedding guest

Hi 😊

I'm doing my own wedding guest makeup next week and need your best tips. I get a creased nose after a while and everything settles in the fine lines under eyes no matter the products I use ☹️

Any recommendations

Can anyone recommend me a powder similar to this shade and preferably matte, as this powder by elf is no longer available. This shade was described as light-medium warm beige with yellow/golden undertones.

Please help makeup people!!!

Hay-fever is killing me, can't keep my lashes glued down because of it. Picture for evidence, they keep lifting on the inner corners.

Recommend me some glue that is actually waterproof.

Contact Dermatitis on Eyes

I’ve developed contact dermatitis on my eyes, which I thought at first was from mosquito spray but am realising I think it might be from my concealer. I’m getting red and dry skin (almost flaky), mostly under the eye but initially my lids were a bit dry as well.

I currently use Maybelline Eraser, and have for many years, but I’ve just learned from Google that the ingredients have changed on this concealer, so I’m wondering if this is causing me problems.

The only make up I wear is concealer and mascara. I have very dark circles under my eyes (hereditary - cheers, mum!) so I do need to use the concealer. Does anyone have a suggestion for concealers for sensitive skin and/or without phenoxyethanol? This is the ingredient that Google is telling me has been added to my current concealer.

I’m UK based and don’t have a massive budget, but happy to try pricier things if they will work and not irritate my eyes.

Thanks, in hope!

coolest blush i own in my collection

im too scared to touch it!!😅 tomie (the girl on the blush) is only printed on so it disappears after you use it once 😔 btw it comes in two different colours, this is the lighter one and the blush has a different image depending what shade you choose. its from little ondine if anyone is curious and i bought mine from aliexpress, the service was good and came on the day it said it would but be careful if buying from aliexpress and check reviews because theres some fake stuff on there. also it was around €20 and ive seen reviews that said its not very pigmented which i actually prefer but its worth knowing before you buy, also it came very protected in the mail and no damage to the box or anything

Uk girls please help me find this lip combo and how do to create this look!

Girls please help me out! I really love this look and want to be able to re create it for my holiday as my everyday evening make up, I love how bronzed it is but still looks lightweight, I’m hoping to recreate it by just using a nice bronzer, maybe blush and then the lips, but what products would you suggest and what products will create this lip combo? Also do you think there’s anything else I’d need to create it,
Preferably something I can get from boots or Superdrug!

I currently use the Chanel cream bronzer but I’ve noticed it has an orange tinge to it and this doesn’t look orange at all so need a bronzer that isn’t like that,

Thank you so much!

Eyebrow tint

I'm needing some suggestions on a long lasting dark brown eyebrow tint. I've been bleaching my eyebrows and applying a natural henna dye, to give them a lighter brown look - also saves me from having to clean them up without plucking anything.

Problem is, since the dye is natural it washes off after a couple days and they start to look ginger - which looks odd with my darker hair.

Can anyone recommend a good permanent brow tint? Is the Eylure brand any good?

Does nyx iv lip gloss stain always stain pink?

Hi! I’ve recently been using the “ LIP IV HYDRATING GLOSS STAIN “ from Nyx.

I chose the colour espresso soak, I believe (though am not certain).

It applies as a thick brown gloss that looks like the expected shade.

I am primarily using it for the stain effect and desired a brown stain, but it stains bright pink! Is this the case for all shades in this range?

Thank you.

Can anyone identify this eyebrow pencil?

Apologies for the horrible state it is in from me trying to get it from the lid as it has gotten shorter and shorter! I would have definitely got this from either boots or Superdrug and the branding is a sort of purpley blue. I can’t seem to identify it anywhere. Any ideas?

EDIT: turns out it was from Poundland! So not only did I have to go through the embarrassment of this photo of a ropey eyebrow pencil but turns out I didn’t even remember where I bought it for just £1.

Please help me to stop using this old lipstick as blusher!

Please help me to stop using this old lipstick as blusher?!

I am aware it is full of fluff and not hygienic.

Long story short, I have been using the end of a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick (shade pillow talk) as a blush because I rarely wear makeup, didn't have a blusher and I found it in my drawer. I like the colour so I went to a CT counter and tried to get the pillow talk coloured blush wand (the matte one) but the membership of staff informed me the blusher isn't the same colour as the lipstick even though they have the same name...

So is there a cream blush that's a similar colour that anyone recommends? Or maybe some kind of pallette so I can try them out? Bonus points if I can pick it up at Selfridges because I have a voucher to use! Unfortunately I struggle to get shade matched in person because I live rurally and have a baby. When I wear makeup I use Erborian BB cream in shade claire.

Thanks!

Looking for high end minis (bridal)

Hi there, I’m having a small wedding and therefore not going down the usual wedding party route morning of.

I’ve got some close friends that I’ve been bridesmaid for in the past and I’d like to send them a little gift box for morning of (mini perfumes, subtle jewellery etc)

I’m a little stuck on mini makeup - it seems easy to get hold of for drugstore/youth orientated brands but I’d like to get them a set of small lipsticks/lip products (not gloss, more substantial) from a high end brand (flexible on what I mean by that - could be department store counter, could be niche/artisan, just ‘special’)

I’m seeing a lot on eBay and I’m aware it’s probably the exactly wrong time of year for them (ie not Christmas) - Cult Beauty and Space NK seemed to be very bare on that front.

Would anyone have any recommendations? I’m not looking for palettes as I’m thinking it’s something a friend can pop in their handbag on the day, and choose their own preferred shade.

Thank you ☺️

On the hunt for a discontinued foundation

Hi everyone 🖤

I am getting married in September 2027 and have been trying to find ANYWHERE that still sells the Elf Flawless Satin Foundation in Beige.

It is the only foundation that I've ever found that matches me perfectly and I was crushed when Elf discontinued it. Its also the perfect satin finish and made me feel beautiful.

I have tried other foundations, including other Elf ones, and they just dont match me at all.

There are some places that have other shades but nowhere has beige left so, as a last ditch effort, I have come here.

Does anybody have this in their collection and would be willing to let me buy it from you? I didnt know it was being discontinued until too late so couldnt stock up on it and I'm so sad that I'm having to find alternatives to wear for my wedding.

I even emailed Elf but they just told me to try Halo Glow. I dont like Halo Glow.

Please could you check your makeup collections?

Thank you!!
