Transfer proof red lipstick

Hi everyone, can anyone recommend a truly transfer proof strong red lipstick. I’ve heard good things about the kiko 2-1 lipstick but it isn’t available in the colour I’m looking for. I’m mainly looking for a strong red but could settle for a dark pink or burgundy it’s for a Halloween costume. Mainly looking for drugstore. Thanks!

Not progressing

Despite achieving all my goals and objectives I’ve been told I’m not progressing enough compared to other juniors. I get given the easy work and the more challenging work consistently goes to the male junior devs. I’m the only female dev as all others have left or been laid off.

I’ve never had issues with work before I came off a competitive intern project where I was a top performer. My manager didn’t give me any constructive feedback only other (male) devs are better basically. How do I deal with this? I have already been hunted by another team and move is in progress but it depends on headcount etc.

Manager said I’m not developing enough

I’ve been working in my job for around 2.5 years now and have been under my current manager most of this time. I’ve been managing a single service by myself as well as helping pick up other tasks as required. I had my mid year a few months ago and all went fine.

Then last week I got hit with a your not developing within your role. I asked for specifics and comparisons were made to other juniors but nothing about my specific work (no you’re too slow, not independent enough etc). I basically said I was focusing on handling all tasks related to this project and since it had dried up was moving onto the new project we discussed.

I’ve been repeatedly passed up for work in the past with it being given to the other juniors in the team. How f*cked am I here? We discussed getting given more challenging work but the problem is there isn’t any. I may have the opportunity to move team but I don’t know if this will go ahead.

Guy I’m dating is still active on dating app?

I just want some advice on my situation. I’ve been on four dates with a guy I met on a dating app. He’s been great has a lot of good qualities and is attractive. He’s 6 years older than me (mes early thirties I’m late 20s). I’ve noticed he’s a bit slow to escalate things physically I’ve initiated hugs and hand holding but he still hasn’t kissed me yet. I don’t mind waiting and I’m usually a slow burn so this doesn’t bother me.

I haven’t dated anyone else since meeting him as I don’t like multi dating and prefer to focus on one person at a time. I’ve heard men know very early on if they want a relationship with someone so my question is do you stay active on dating apps after 4 dates with someone? Is this because you’re unsure or trying to find someone better?

Guy seems nervous

I (26f) matched with this guy (30m) on a dating app 3 weeks ago. We texted for a bit and since have had 2 dates. He’s very confident and chatty, dances, laughs and makes jokes, but when he’s sat across from me he just seems so nervous. It’s not social anxiety because he seems to have a large group of friends and goes to sports clubs etc. He Struggles to make eye contact and doesn’t know what questions to ask. He makes subtle attempts to touch me like walking very close together or sitting next to each other but seems to be unsure of kissing, holding hands etc.

I’m naturally shy myself and have never been with a guy that wasn’t confident making the first move. Is it just he likes me and is scared to do something I’m uncomfortable with?

Struggling with slow dating

I’ve started seeing this guy from a dating app and I’m really struggling with the pace of our dates. We’ve only been talking for 3 weeks total, 2 weeks before we had first date which went great. After first date we both immediately set up date 2 which is next week.

I am usually avoidant in dating but with him it’s turning me more anxious. I think it’s because he’s the first guy I’ve genuinely felt attraction to. Logically I know taking it slow ie one date a week and a few texts to checkup is a good approach but emotionally I just want to see more of him.

Early dating texting

Hi everyone I just want some opinions on my dating situation. I met this guy on hinge a few weeks ago and we’ve been texting consistently since. The first week we were texting every day and then we got a date arranged. Unfortunately I was unwell so we rescheduled and he canceled the reservation and rebooked.

The date went great and we were talking for 5 hours. At the end of the date we both communicated we’d like to see each other again and he said he’d love to take me out for dinner. We texted to arrange dinner and he decided on a place and made reservations.

The only thing is he is a bit infrequent with texting and sometimes it takes him a few hours to reply. I don’t doubt he is interested but it’s my first time dating and I see online you should be texting more often. I’m still going to see him as I really like him but just wanted some advice on the texting situation.

Sending out likes but no matches?!

Hey everyone I 25f are new to dating apps and I’m specifically on hinge. For the past week I’ve been working through my feed and using my free likes to send a like to guys I like. I’m mainly looking for someone looking for something long term, has a job, around 24-29 and stays in the same city as me.

When I like people I usually comment about one of their prompts and ask a question. But I’m not getting many matches off these likes maybe 1-2 so far. Most of my matches have come from guys who liked me first. I’m not sure why my sent likes aren’t coveted to matches, I’m not going after a certain type and really looking more for personality. I understand that tall guys for example can be more picky but I’m sending out likes to guys 5’6-5’8. How can I convert these likes to more matches?

Depressed about dating

I’ve just recently started putting myself out there and been going on dates with a few people from the app but I’ve noticed something weird happening to my mood. Before dating my mental health was fine, sure there are a lot of things I don’t like about my life but day to day it’s fine. I feel pretty happy with who I am.

Now since starting dating I just feel so mentally exhausted and quite depressed a lot of the time. It’s nothing to do with the guys they are all great and I enjoy spending time with them. Am I just not ready to be dating I don’t know what’s happening

How do I know?

Hi everyone I’m just looking for some advice. I recently went out with this guy from a dating app, and he did everything right. He was a gentleman from the start asked me questions about myself, is very humble and apologies when he misremembered something I said, paid for the whole date and walked me home. He is very ambitious career wise like myself but still has great hobbies and we have a lot in common.

However, I’m a bit taken back by his voice and mannerisms. He does come across as quite effeminate when talking and I did feel at multiple points like I was talking to my gay (guy) friend. He is still interested in me romatanically and is genuinely everything I’m looking for in a man. I’m just not sure how to continue with this.

Water retention around stomach area

I’ve been on pregabalin 150x3 a day for 4 months now for nerve pain. It’s been a wonder drug for me and helps me control my pain and be more active. However I’ve noticed I’ve gained some weight 6kg and clothes are tight around waist area. But in the mirror it doesn’t look like obvious fat rolls but more like bloating or puffiness. Has anyone else experienced this and what helped improve it.

I’ve cut down on excess calories now eating a small deficit, exercising more and cutting down salt.

Sudden recovery

I’ve had long covid for a year now and my symptoms were bad but stable with a slight worsening at 8 months. Then at 11 months I noticed a gradual but noticeable improvement in my pain levels and activity tolerance despite not doing anything differently. Has anyone else experienced this?

Companies changing face on AI

Are any of your companies starting to backtrack their previous sentiment regarding AI? I work for a large multinational company and although AI is still widely used and encouraged the messaging around it has changed significantly. It’s gone from unlimited use to strict token limits.

I uploaded the photos of my empty blister packs to the app following the instructions. These have been stuck in pending mode for over a week now. Has anyone else had this issue?

Evolving red mark on face. Should I get this checked out?

I have this red mark on my face should I be concerned. It’s larger than my usual freckles as can be seen in photo. Should I get this checked out?

Red mark on skin

How concerned should I be about this? I’ve had it for a few years but feel like it’s grown very slightly recently. On sun exposed area of skin.

I opened up to therapist today!

Today I finally made the step and told therapist about past abuse. I’ve never told anyone about it since it happened almost 20 years ago. I feel so proud of myself and so much lighter. I know I still need to put more work in but glad I took the first step.
