Are the brownies good?

I am looking for proper, classic brownies. Thought about McDonald's as they are American. Are they good though?

Edit: just had one. They are good! Simple and rich. I wouldn't say they are overpriced if you look at what other cafés, bakeries, and restaurants are offering.

Does anyone else feel like the old money aesthetic fits Kibbe Classics best?

I'm a theatrical romantic. I like the old money style, but when I wear it, I look like I am cosplaying – despite having a decent educational background and a proportionate body.

I am thinking that the straight lines and minimalism of the old money style might simply be too "yang" for theatrical romantics (and other types). It might also not work for petites, in the sense that it might require a certain height to look good.

This is, tbh, making me feel self-conscious about the impression I give and the opportunities I might never attract. Maybe my curves, petite height, and delicate bone structure (a body not too different from Tyla's) will always lead me to be categorised a certain way, socially and professionally. E.g. being sexualised and/or undermined, one way or another. This is a pattern that I have noticed.

Thoughts? What has been your experience of looking like a certain archetype? The collective subconscious holds multiple archetypes...

L'Oréal Color Riche lipstick : 124 vs 1990?

Hi! Could someone please help me compare the shades 124 ("S'il vous plaît") and 1990 ("Le Bordeaux") of the L'Oréal Color Riche lipstick range? Ideally swatched side by side. I need a cool-toned and deep red lipstick.

My parents don't like my grown-up face and style

Guys, I have noticed a pattern and I am curious if you've seen it happen too!

I have left my parents since age 22. I am 26 now, and my face has naturally gotten more defined. Stronger jaw, more prominent cheekbones. Wisdom teeth coming in. I look less cute and more sexy. I wear red lipstick sometimes. I get compliments on my face.

I recently showed them pictures of me; they hadn't seen me since I had left them.

They don't like my face. They said I look gaunt and the lipstick is "too bright". I am not gaunt; my weight is healthy (I am a dietitian). The lipstick isn't too bright, it's literally the color of red wine.

They subconsciously feel threatened by the grown-up and confident version of me. Once you see it, you can't unsee it!
