Is there any way to dye the edge banding on this hat I am making? Just something I overlooked doing before stitching it in.

So I have one last step on this hat to do, something I should’ve done beforehand. But you live and learn. How would you dye the edge banding on this hat? The area is circled in the third picture. According to Tandy Leather, the color is like dark brown. It looks black to me and the underside has more of a gray color than a brown color. Is it just too late to try and dye that edge? Should I just leave it that way? It’s not really that bad but I like to have my stuff A+ you know?

Also for any potential future hats I make, what is the best way to prevent wrinkles on the brim? I had it perfectly flat before I added the edge banding. I believe what I did was tighten the stitches too much but I also don’t know how to judge what is too much. Any advice would be helpful. I’m still learning.

Learn learned how to do some leatherwork and made this. Would Arthur pick it up in the middle of a shootout?

Making my first hat, how to make the seams on the top sharper?

So, I’m pretty happy with the hat so far but the top seam around the hat is too bulbous not a crisp seam. How would you change that to be a crisper seam? Any tips or tricks?
I still have to add the banding around the outside of the brim which I plan to insert a wire inside in order for the brim to keep its shape. Thanks

Picture frame fell off the wall and punched hole in the watercolor painting I’m working on.

So one of my framed paintings fell off the wall and the corner of the frame punched through the watercolor painting I’m working on. Now there is a triangular puncture mark right above the focus of the painting. Is there anything I can do about it?
