My favourite is Sakuya's comments on humans. It's simple but extremely true, and it fits since Sakuya used to be unfriendly to humans despite being one herself. Eiki even calls her out on it.

There's way more I could include, but these are the main ones I wanted as stimuli. Joon and Shion as a duo are also commentary on capitalism but with a focus on the socio-economic inequality caused by it.

Something I like about the Hifuu albums is that Merry and Renko live in a dystopia, but it's not an obvious one. Like, their society seems cool on the surface since they can take trips to the moon and stuff, but if you pay attention to the song comments, you realise you wouldn't want to live there. This brings the horror that our own world might become like theirs if we aren't careful.

If you like this kinda stuff, go read Alternative Facts in Eastern Utopia. It's literally just ZUN expressing his political opinions through Touhou's characters, which is great. TLDR: ZUN's been woke before being woke was a thing. Dude's been talking about saving the environment since the early 2000's.

Of course, this isn't to say people who post Found Fanart are bad (I've done it myself) or that if you don't upvote OC: Art posts, you're a bad person. It's just about supporting the artists, especially with the rise of AI.
