I’ve been lurking on this sub for a while and I keep seeing the same post founders looking for commission-based sales partners, affordable customer acquisition, alternatives to expensive ads.
So I want to share what I’m building and see if it’s useful for anyone here.
Background:
I’m a Delhi-based founder. I spent years watching two problems exist side by side in India businesses that can’t afford customer acquisition, and people with strong personal networks who have no structured way to earn from them.
So I built GenAxle.
What it is:
GenAxle is a commission marketplace. Here’s how it works in plain terms:
• You list your product or service on GenAxle for free
• You set the commission you’re willing to pay per sale or per customer
• Verified individuals — students, housewives, working professionals — promote your business through their personal network
• Someone converts — you confirm it
• You pay the commission directly to the individual
• GenAxle charges a small platform fee only on closed deals
Zero monthly fees. Zero ad spend. You pay only when a real customer comes through.
Real example:
A local gym listed on GenAxle. Offered ₹200 per new member. A gym member referred a friend, the friend joined and paid, the gym owner confirmed — ₹200 was paid the same day. The gym paid nothing until that moment. Same model works for edtech, coaching, solar, insurance, real estate, SaaS, D2C — anything where a human recommendation drives a decision.
Why I’m posting here:
I saw someone recently post looking for commission-based sales agencies in India for their edutainment startup.
